YouYou Japanese Bistro is somewhat of a hidden gem, tucked away at the back of a mid-size plaza just off Broad Street in Nashua. On a couple of recent visits I came away thoroughly impressed. The first visit was solo, and I sat at the sushi bar. The next visit, with a couple friends, we sat at a high top in the main bar as you walk in. Both times felt very welcoming, and the atmosphere was buzzing with a near full house. The servers were very friendly and helpful; food and drinks were presented quite promptly. The Mai Tais are excellent here. For the first visit, I had an outstandingly fresh Sashimi Sampler For One, along with the Roast Pork Ramen which was quite flavorful; well balanced and not too salty. For the second visit, I had the excellent Seafood Diablo. Many plates labeled Diablo (“devil”) are somewhat spicy, but the use of apricot in this particular dish renders it a bit on the sweet side; nothing devilish about it, and that’s just fine as I thoroughly enjoyed this meal. I also gave the Tempura Oysters a try but found them to be a bit meh with very little oyster taste; mushy inside and crunchy tempura outside. There are a couple of Designer Rolls that are not on the menu, but were suggested by a server. Of these, I went with the outstanding Austin Roll as I tend to gravitate toward anything that contains mango. This one is a beauty topped in a layer of avocado and a slice of jalapeño. The menu here is amazingly diverse. Highly recommended.

I feel like this place is overhyped. The menu offerings looked great but the execution not so much. Unfortunately the best dish for me was dessert and we learned they don’t make it inhouse. Not sure if it’s with what i ordered or if other options would have been better. The ramen was bland. The sushi was subpar.

We sat at the bar. Drinks were delicious. Bar area filled up quickly. It took some time for the bartender to ask us for a food order.

I’ve been going here for a few months now and just wanted to say what a wonderful experience it is each time. The food is phenomenal and service is top notch. If you are looking for exquisite Japanese cuisine or delicious sushi look no further! They have a wonderful bar and beautiful dining area. Check them out for lunch soon and try the Red Sox roll.

As always, this restaurant leaves me with good experiences. The ambience is lovely and the staff is friendly. When it gets busy I don’t blame them but they tend to take a little longer than most places. The sushi uses fresh ingredients and the portion is correct. The chicken teriyaki is always on point. I would recommend this place for any occasion and would always come back again.

I love this unassuming Asian fusion restaurant right off the highway in Nashua. I had the bibimbop with beef and it was very good, the crunchy rice at the bottom was a little burnt. The Red Sox roll was the best roll I’ve ever had at any restaurant with the crunchy tempura was so good.

I went with one other person for lunch. It was really quiet. The lunch specials are pretty reasonable. The curry chicken was excellent. The server was polite and friendly.

This is the only place in town I’ll get sushi! Fresh made to order and quick, they offer typical and authentic Japanese/Asian food offerings from sushi, bento boxes, rice bowls and special party size sushi boats! Pricing is very affordable and the serving sizes are filling; great food and service. Veggie tempura bento box is delicious with a side of hot sake (or chilled)
