If you’re thinking about trying this place, do it!
Their food is super good! I’ve had quite a few things off of the menu and everything was great!
We tried the fried cheese pulled pork/smoked chicken tacos and they were SO GOOD! They’re also pretty big and the Spanish rice is great as well. Definitely a great little place in vermilion to eat.
The owner and everyone else who works there are extremely friendly!

Got to sit and talk with the owner. Sadly they were closed by the time i got off work and got there. The owner and his family keep the grounds very clean and the the inside spotless. The menu is interesting and think there going to be a great addition to the city of vermilion and can’t wait to try there barbecue!

I just finished eating their egg rolls, and I have to say they’re amazing! I wasn’t getting it at first how egg rolls incorporate with BBQ, but now do I not only get it, I’m a believer! Go check them out!
They also do amazing things for the community such as “meeting Santa”, they have movie nights on Mondays etc… All around great place!

We ordered Cubano sandwiches and a cheeseburger for our son. The sandwich was huge and by far the best Cubano I’ve had. We kept commenting on how fresh the bread tasted and how tender the pork was. Our son loved his burger, and the experience was overall fantastic. We are local and can’t wait to try some of their other delicious meals. Highly recommend trying if you’re in town. They have something for everyone.

Owner was incredibly friendly and gracious. Thanked us like 4 times for driving out there to eat! Everyone was smiling and the food was amazing on top of it all. Been wanting some good BBQ for a while now and it hit the spot! Carnitas Burrito, mac n cheese, smoked dogs, and onion rings were all top notch! Will be coming back for sure.

Gave constructive criticism on a news article about how this business may not survive based on how the owner responds to any negative reviews and the own did was he does best with negativity. Commented something distasteful and then BLOCKED me.
A word of advice: if you respond to negativity with crass and anger immediately then it will show in your day-to-day. If you can’t take anything negative being said about your business without anger and name calling…then your business won’t survive.
Myself as a consumer would love to give this company my money but I check reviews. And I check bad reviews (as with a lot of customers) first to see how things were handled. I’ve seen bad reviews but have seen the owners come back with compassion and understanding and trying to either rectify the situation or compromise on it. With good companies getting people to change their reviews based on the owner responses to make the situation better.
Pizza Galley is one of those local businesses that does this with bad reviews.
All I stated was that this establishment won’t be able to stay in business with the owners mindset on reviews he doesn’t like. And I stand by that as he immediately reacted with anger for really no reason.
I would love to keep a good business in vermilion but sometimes the owners need to be more kind to customers.

I hope this place lasts a long time, bc we have literally never been disappointed. The food is amazing and the prices are reasonable. I’d recommend it to anyone around.
My favorite part though is how dedicated the owner is. You can tell how much his business and customers mean to him. He isn’t some dude in a suit buying out the last failing business to try to flip it. You can talk to him like a real human – he isn’t stuck up and all about the money. He’s doing what he can with his dream and putting it all into it. I’m so happy to support a business like that!

Stopped for the first time today. Will not be the last. The Cuban was outstanding, could not finish it all at once. The mac and cheese bowl with pork is amazing. Nice people serving great food. Give them a try, you won’t be sorry.
