This food truck is truly a gem. The barbecue is on another level — tender, flavorful, and clearly made by someone who knows what they’re doing. The ribs fall right off the bone, the rib tips are packed with flavor, and the jerk chicken has that perfect balance of heat and seasoning. What makes it even better is that it’s woman-owned and woman-run — she does it all on her own: the cooking, the service, the prep, everything. And somehow she still greets you with a smile and makes you feel at home.
If you want real barbecue, made with real skill, by someone who actually cares about the food she’s serving, this is the spot. Support small business, support women in food, and treat yourself to some top-tier plates. You won’t be disappointed.

We asked if the banana pudding was homemade or made from a box version… was told that it was homemade. It tasted like way too much vanilla extract had been added.. had no bananas in it and lacked ANY banana flavoring @ all. I could’ve mashed up some bananas in a bowl and added some vanilla wafers.. that would’ve surpassed this experience.

Wow was this food ever good!! Famous Dave can eat his heart out! The rib tips were so smokey & flavourful & then slathered in bbq sauce to boot. The baked beans & coleslaw were particularly good as well. Top notch food served by a super sweet lady! Try this place!!

I ordered rib tips and they were scraps that I would give a dog. Customer service also sucked the female was rude. I spent my money and the food was unpleasant in appearance and taste. I wish I could add a photo

Very good restaurant! Very rare do I leave full reviews. They deserve one forsure. Where do I begin? Im a multicultural Marine Corps Veteran. Im Creole, African American, and Mexican flavors are in my blood. My pallet is extensive being originally from Chicago , 2 years in Milwaukee, stationed in San Diego, Ca for 4 years I would say I’ve had my rounds in tasting experiences. Now onto the honest review. Scale 1-10, 10 being perfect.
Rib Tips: 7 they would be more enjoyable smothered in your delicious bbq sauce 🙂 the sauce would be a ten if it had some spice.
Chicken: 4 the chicken is cooked well but lacks flavor. Definitely more salt and seasoning of some sort. My spice tolerance is high but I detected no spice. Very disappointing.
Cornbread: 8 well done.
Mac and cheese: 8.8 reminds me of my Auntie Anne’s growing up. My mothers side of the family is from Mississippi so we throw down. I would only recommend some garlic powder or some sort of seasoning to take it to level “Hittin” !
Greens: 6 very tender yet lacks flavor. Louisiana hot sauce pairs well with this item.
Spaghetti: wow just WOW. I can not rate this item confidently. Alone this item is a 5. With a tad bit of sugar… a TEN ! I added sugar and it became the third best spaghetti I’ve ever tasted!
I would HIGHLY recommend the taffy covered grapes! Thank you !
