They have a lot of options, but I chose their pizza. The supreme was amazing!!! Our group also ordered different flavors and they loved them! The staff and the owners were so kind and helpful. Definitely worth going out of your way for!!!! We loved it here, we’ll be back. 🙂

Stopped on our way home from Florida. You can sit where you want to sit. Waitress was very prompt with waiting on you and taking your order. Didn’t wait long at all on our food. It was hot and a really good portion of food. We got a slice of Apple pie and it was delicious. Homemade and not from a can. Less than $4 for dessert. Unheard of now days. Good place to eat, with very nice staff and a great atmosphere. Prices are easy on the pocket and delicious food! We will return on another trip to Florida.

First time here. We were able to sit wherever we wanted. Our waitress was prompt. The menu was not huge but did have some good choices. A good variety of meals. Wait time from ordering until the food was brought out was short. Our waitress was attentive. We bought two meals plus a soda and it was less than $20.00. It’s almost unheard of now a days unless you are getting fast food. I’m sure we would go back if ever in the area again.

Called to place an order, when the phone was answered was no hello, can you please hold etc. just “hold”.. The phone was layed down and heard the woman just having a good time talking in the background, laughing with no intentions on picking up the phone. After the 10 minute mark I’d had enough and hung up. Waited a couple minutes and called back and told the lady I’d gotten tired of waiting and her reply was, “oh, okay!” .. I ordered three pizzas and two orders of cheese sticks as we had been told so many better reviews than bad. The pizza was so runny that it wouldn’t even stay together, had literally never saw a thing like it the dough was like it wasn’t done. Long story short, save your money.

We stopped here on our way down to NC. What a gem! Prices were awesome and it was very welcoming. It was like stepping back in time with the hospitality!

Its a good restaurant, but the food wasnt the best. What it lacks it the taste department. They MORE than enough make up for it in the service. The waitress was an absolute sweetheart.

The food was great, portions were large, staff was incredibly friendly and the best part is the prices were incredibly low compared to everywhere else I’ve been the last few years!

Family style restaurant with down home cooking! Nice place to stop in..awesome rolls!! You might keep in mind that it’s cash only. There’s an atm located at the gas station located just across the road.
If dessert is what’s on your mind then the blueberry alamode would more than likely be a perfect fit!

Your Family Restaurant: A Step Back in Time, For Better or Worse
Stepping into Your Family Restaurant in Kenna, WV, is like stepping into a time capsule. For anyone who has visited over the last two decades, the scene is strikingly familiar, as little to nothing has changed. Unfortunately, this lack of evolution lends itself to a drab, awkward atmosphere that feels more like a relic of the past than a charming throwback.
The “family style” restaurant schtick, once perhaps a novel concept, has certainly lost its luster over the years. The main courses are, to put it plainly, nothing to write home about. The food often comes across as bland and uninspired, leaving one with the distinct impression that very little of it is actually homemade. In an era where fresh, local ingredients are celebrated, the menu feels tired and stuck in a bygone time. The staff, while functional, often adds to the underwhelming experience. A general lack of pleasantries can make the service feel irritatingly impersonal, a stark contrast to the “family” theme the restaurant purports to embody.
However, there is one shining beacon of hope that redeems an otherwise lackluster visit: the pies. The dessert case is where Your Family Restaurant truly excels. The pies are consistently delicious, a sweet and satisfying end to a meal that proves they are capable of creating something wonderful. It’s the one part of the experience that feels genuinely crafted with care.
With the recent opening of their new venture, Your Family Pizza, one can only hope that they capture the magic of their pie-making and apply it to this new endeavor. Perhaps it will be the successful, modern update the brand desperately needs.
