Who would have thought the absolute best wings would be in Florence! The PB&J wings and spicy peach wings are amazing and I’m not usually big on different flavors. The fact that wings are smoked for 6 hours and then fried to order makes them moist and crispy…to die for!! Service is incredible. Ashley was so friendly and attentive and felt like family. Super clean and great atmosphere. We drove down from North Scottsdale and every mile was worth it. We’ll be back!!

We were just looking for any mediocre pork ribs to eat for dinner when we stumbled upon this amazing place. We got ribs, potato salad, cole slaw, corn bread and fried pickles… this place is a hidden gem…Angie was our server and she was so friendly and kind, didn’t rush us or pushed us to get appetizers or even dessert but let me tell you. Once you try the fried pickles and the ribs, you will be eager to try the desert because everything is home made and fresh. Everyone should come to this place and I promise you, you won’t ever want ribs from any other place. Thank me later and leave a like on here if you tried this place and loved it as much as we did!!

This was my first time at Your Behind BBQ. The town had an old desert town feel and the staff were very personable and friendly. They checked on us often. The atmosphere within was spacious and inviting. The food was very tasty and the ribs fell off the bone. The cornbread was moist and it complemented the ribs well. The prices were reasonable and the serving size was enough for 2 ppl.

Came here with my brother and our sons. Great food the waitresses were on it. The cook which I believe was the owner came out and asked how everyone is doing. Love seeing that. Wings were delicious brisket burger was delicious. Stopped by for lunch during a 3 day 4wheeling trip. Good spot to clean up and have good eating. Thank you guys much love from Rialto, CA.

We ate lunch yesterday while on a little excursion. Since my hubby is a certified BBQ judge, we had to try this place. From the minute we walked in the door until we left, we were greeted enthusiastically, waited on efficiently and made welcome. I had the BBQ sandwich and fries and he had the brisket sandwich and slaw. The portions were enormous and DEElicious which explains why there were so many men there. By the time we left, every table was full. Just go, you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely worth the drive out to Florence. These confidently are the BEST wings I have ever had. They are smoked and fried (unsure what order) and great size! Did some absolute damage here and will do it again in the near future.

On my way back from Huachuca City, I made a stop in Florence after seeing an Instagram video about Behind BBQ Birds and Bones. I knew I had to try their Biscuits and Brisket Gravy—and it did not disappoint!
From the moment we walked in, Kate greeted us with such warmth and genuine friendliness that set the tone for the entire visit. The atmosphere throughout the restaurant felt welcoming and down-to-earth, like dining with family. Our server, Jess, was just as wonderful—checking in often and making sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed.
What really stood out was Kyle, the owner. He wasn’t just in the back—he was out visiting tables, talking with guests, and making sure everyone was enjoying their meals. I had the chance to chat with him personally, and his passion for the food and the community really shows. He was the reason I wanted to stop in, and I’m glad I did.
Now for the food—absolutely fantastic. The Biscuits and Brisket Gravy (only served on Sundays) are an absolute must-try and truly worth the drive. I also tried the Chicken Fried Steak with Brisket Gravy, and it was outstanding—hearty, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.
If you’re anywhere near Florence, this spot is more than worth the stop. Great food, amazing hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to come back. Behind BBQ Birds and Bones is a true treasure, and I’ll definitely be returning.

Wow! This BBQ spot is incredible, and I can easily see why their reviews are so amazing—the food speaks for itself! We took the drive from Tucson on the historic 79/80 just as the sun was setting, and the spectacular drive combined with this meal made for two huge highlights of our vacation.
The service was top-notch from start to finish. The owner was super helpful in guiding us through the menu, and our server, Jess, was fantastic—both were nice, helpful, and fun.
We definitely ordered way too much but were thrilled to have plenty of leftovers! We had the loaded baked potato, ribs, wings, and a salad. Seriously, I don’t know why I even ordered the salad; I barely touched it after tasting the ribs. They were the definition of fall-off-the-bone and tasty deliciousness!

This was the best “Field Trip” during our recent visit to AZ. As former AZ residents, we wanted to take a drive out to the east part of the valley. We heard about BBQ Birds and Bones so we decided to give it a try. It was great! We were immediately greeted with welcoming hospitality and big smiles. The food was delicious and worth the trip from Glendale!
We definitely will tell our friends and try to return on our next visit back to our favorite state….Arizona!
