Until recently, I would have given the food 4, maybe even 5 stars, but no more. My last 2 visits consisted of mushy shrimp and rice. Mushy shrimp? Old. Threw it out. Spring rolls that have a thick, doughy wrap, not even close to crispy, andwas alm empty. Teriyaki chicken, with no Teriyaki. And more. I just won’t make this ridiculously long. Shame. Used to be regulars. Going to be a while before we go back.

I like the food. It’s very good, but we have had the most absurd experiences here. We have probably ordered it 100 times (like i said, I like the food) but at least 50, likely closer to 75 of those times, they have messed up our order. It’s gotten to the point where when we call, we clarify what we want and say, “this is always wrong. We want to make sure if we order it, we’ll get the right thing.” They assure us we will. This time, my husband clarified at least 4 times, including when he arrived for pickup. We got the “vegetable” egg rolls home, and they have shrimp in them. Usually it’s chicken. But it’s almost never the veggie egg rolls that we order. We have wasted so much money on egg rolls here. I realize we should probably learn by now, but it’s just so ridiculous. We truly love their food. They are fast, efficient, and everything else is typically correct (like 95% of the time. Maybe 5-10% of the time, we don’t get our rice). But it’s so frustrating that we’ve probably wasted a couple hundred dollars on egg rolls, and it doesn’t matter how many times we tell them this is an issue, it continues. I hate writing this review, but something has to change.

This is a classic family-run Chinese restaurant. It is primarily for take-out, as accommodations for dining in are rather sparse, and their website does not show an option for delivery… but everything that I have ordered there has been good – I particularly enjoy their hot and sour soup.

I’m a fan of Chinese food but their food needs improvement. Inside of restaurant was gloomy and no diners the day my wife and I were there. We got takeout and ate it in the park. No hand soap in the restroom , had to use our own hand sanitizer. No tap water when we asked for it. Had to buy bottled water. They didn’t have lemon, only lime?! Very slow to get our food ready when no other customers were there. They couldn’t/ wouldn’t substitute tofu for chicken in the lunch special. The majority of the meal was rice. It was just a heavy lump of fried rice, plain with no peas or carrots in it. Our egg rolls had a very hard, chewy outer layer that was not very good.

A true hidden gem. Out of a large amount of Asian restaurants that I frequent, the service and, above all, the quality of the homemade dumplings was superlative. I feel lucky to be a mile away from being able to take advantage of their food and service.

If you’re looking for atmosphere this may not be your place. But, if you’re looking for really good Chinese food, you’ve found it. The proprietors are super friendly, the service was really fast and you cannot beat the price. So, if you’re not a snob you should definitely check it out. Also would be perfect for carry out.
