Wow! What a hidden gem! Had never been here before but will most definitely be back! And hopefully on Green Chili stew day. So delicious. Just a tad kick in spice but man what flavor it has. My husband had the green chili chicken fried steak and absolutely loved it! You have to check this place out!

Oh Boy!! My wife and I have been around Amarillo for over 10 years; no one has ever mentioned this place. Everything here looks homemade with love ❤️. Real at your grandma’s house feel, you know. Everyone super friendly, like family.

My wife had the special green chili stew, may I say….. “Stop the train!” As Guy Fieri might say, “We’re at flavor town!” I’m not a heat guy, this green chili stew had chicken, potatoe, tomatoes, green chili, and rice. You could feel the heat; but a lightweight like me could enjoy the sweet green chili flavor. Really, I had to eat some of hers after I devoured mine. lol

I had the green chili chicken fried steak. Hand breaded and skillet/grill fried, not deep fried, almost inch thick! We tasted the green chili before we ordered, hence why we ordered what we did. It really was one of the best dishes I’ve eaten in a while. They are am American diner, of which are becoming extinct in our day, with unprecedented homemade dishes.

Banana pudding was for dessert, complimentary only during lunch while they last. Soooo, show up early for lunch! Also made from scratch. Delicious!

This is our first time here; will definitely not be our last. Probably going to be a regular stop when we’re in town. We live about 70 miles away; but come to town when we’re home. So surprised. Completely satisfied! Please visit this place when you’re in Amarillo, TX. The process here are very reasonable and won’t break the bank. I know you’ll be as impressed as I, if ya’ll got a little country in ya.

Great food and friendly service—you can’t ask for anything better. I ordered the Breakfast Burrito with sausage. I highly recommend it if you are hungry. It’s huge and delicious. The place is small, with a very local vibe. They made me feel like a regular. I loved it!

Great atmosphere, amazing service, and really good food. Breakfast burritos were a generous size! Prices were very fair.

Stephanie was my waitress I believe & if she could get 100 ☆☆ I would give them. I’m pretty old and this was the best waitress I’ve ever had in my life !!! Food was cooked to order, eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, side of gravy. I will be back nxt time I’m close, hopefully Stephanie is still there…. I’d eat here even if the food wasn’t good if I had her as a waitress. Great coffee too !!

Just a great place for good food.
Traveling through Amarillo, I did my usual search for local restaurants. This fit the bill perfectly and was packed. That’s a great sign.
Happy greeting, sat myself. Coffee was quickly brought and I ordered Chicken Fried steak, eggs and a biscuit. Can’t have enough gravy….

It was fabulous. Obviously care is taken and the cooks enjoy feeding folks.
A bit out of the way, but that makes it local!

I had the veggie omelet w/hashbrowns (I can’t have toast or biscuits and gravy it comes with). It is soooo good and mmmmm and looks amazing! We came at 11am and service was super fast. Omg, they have great grits. Definitely worth the visit. Full and happy!

Was invited out for Breakfast here and it was great. I knew there lunch was good but there Breakfast was great. 3 bacon, 2 egg, hash browns, 2 biscuits, gravy and coffee less than 10 bucks for seniors. They were really busy but the service was still good.
