This is my favorite 설렁탕 place! But as others have said, they serve clear 설렁탕 that has a really clean taste. Non Koreans, take note! Don’t hate on a place because it’s not to your taste. They provide the best kimchi, green onions and beef dipping sauce. Also don’t forget to put enough salt in your soup!

I always feel healed after eating

ordered 2 diff specialty soups and both were terrible—tasteless salty and no depth in flavor. Been to many many restaurants in my day and this is easily one of the worst. Plus service was slow, side dishes sparse, and food was costly.

We went last Sunday around 12pm and they served all rotten soups. We kind of sensed unusual smell from Gomtang and too much of fermented taste from Darro-gukbab but didn’t know it was wrong until other customer called it out almost halfway to the end of meal. Thanks god no one got sick after this. If i were local there, i would have filed complaints. Don’t go there

Their “clear” style SulNongTang is not for everyone, especially for non Koreans. Even many Koreans will not just get it. But if you do, it’s addictive!

pretty good soup although personally I prefer a more traditional style sullungtang (beef bone broth) it just seemed more like a soup made from boiling meat than from boiling beef bones which had a different flavor and color (clear broth instead of milky) a good hearty meal very nice on a cold day 🙂
