The taste is not too bad. Flavorful with preserved soy bean paste(a little bit strong) and a little bit of Szechuan pepper. Spicy is not reach to my limit. Though it charges by weight. Dry pot $18.99/lb and Mala Tang $15.99. The integrant doesn’t have a lot of choice to compare others especially for protein choice and vegetable. I ordered small portion though it costs $34+tip. To compare others, it’s a little bit expensive.

We ordered 3 mild malatang beef noodles and it turns out 2 of our orders are much spicier than the other one. As you can see from the photo, there is a clear difference in the broth color. When we tried to ask the cashier if they served our orders wrong, he said that the color doesn’t explain the spicy level and tried to get away with our complaint. Also, we ordered the food at around 7:45, and the cashier asked if this is to-go or for here. We wanted to dine in, and by the time we received orders around 8:00 pm, they are in to-go boxes instead of a bowl as usual. On the website they claim their closing hour will be at 9 PM, however, at around 8:15 PM he came to us and pick up all the trays when we are still eating, meanwhile he did not pick up the tray from 2 girls are eating right next to us.
Also they close everything before 8:30 PM, so if you want to come and eat in the evening, make sure to double check if they are still open.

YOULIKE BBQ serves the best beef skewer I have ever tasted. The beef is juicy, flavorful and tender. The price is within my budget. Perfect for a quick meal. I recommend it thoughtfully.

It took me for a while to write a review since I’ve never done lol. Food surely brought me nostalgia- my favorite Maratang place in Seoul which is my hometown. More on that, I wanted to leave a review not just because of the food quality, but because of the service. The owner and staff were insanely friendly, like AMAZING. I also loved how the owner took out all the water before measuring my food haha—so thoughtful. If you’re in the area, you’ve gotta try them. No regrets!

Located inside K market. You like skewers sells more than skewers. They have dry and broth versions of Mala tang. You pick your own ingredients with the bowl and tong provided. The worker will weigh your toppings and then finalize the price based on the protein of your choice.
They cook it pretty quickly and it is one of my favorite malatang in this area.
The guo bao rou (sweet and spicy pork) is very good. It is chewy on the inside with some sort of mochi batter. The outside is crispy even though it is covered in the glaze.

Hands down, best malatang around. I do not know what they put in that soup but my goodness I crave it every day… Every time I come around the area, I always tell my wife I want to go here, but a lot of times she wants different food…… I would come here every time if I could. Price is fair, you could get about 2~3 pound of stuff and eat it with two people to save some money too if you want. I have been to other malatang places, many a standalone places but they were no good. This place is #1. And I am Korean.
여기근처에서 여기보다 마라탕 맛있는집 없어요 😀
