I absolutely love this place for a quick easy rice bowl but maaaan the hours are always changing on us! It’s definitely a fast dinner spot for us and it seems hours are different with different seasons or almost at random it changes. I understand profitability for a place like this can be a bummer.

Clean environment, good service, straight forward ordering process. Great mural outside. Food quantity is plenty, the quality is fine. Nothing magical here but its not bad either. I wouldnt say its authentic japanesse cooking, or tasting. More of generic asian food noodle and rice bowls. I got the yokisoba chicken.

Never disappoints and great employees!! Try the matrix roll… amazing! Sweet chili chicken was incredible as well! I have ordered almost half of the menu and am equally impressed with every item. Try it with half rice and half noodles and you won’t be disappointed. I think you can very easily share the full sized portion and feed 2 people no problem.

Visiting for Kilby Block party and met a very nice employee on our way into the festival named Lilly who suggested we stop by their food truck. We did and it did not disappoint!! My husband and I shared a cilantro rice bowl and gyoza and it was incredibly delicious, filling and probably the most affordably priced food we had at the whole festival! Instantly craving it again the next day after the festival was over we decided to check out their actual restaurant location and we were equally impressed. The place is very cute and clean and Daniela at the counter was incredibly kind and made some good suggestions. I got the same rice bowl as before because it was so good and my husband got the Enso bento box which was also really good! Really impressed by the sushi roll in it too! Compared it to places back home in Washington that we like to eat at and for the cost and quality of food we are pretty amazed. Also just really wonderful staff! If I find myself in Salt Lake again I won’t be going without a stop at Yoshi’s! Thanks Lilly for the recommendation! You rock! 🙂

Always get the large Kobe beef teriyaki bowl. Its very good and very big. It’s around $13, but always feeds me for two meals. Can’t beat it. Place is always clean and the staff have always been friendly and helpful to me. Place is cozy and seating area is set up well. Also has a few tables for outdoor seating with umbrellas that are great for a nice day or evening meal.

Their food truck came to my work and I really enjoyed my meal. This food truck had the longest line but orders were taken super fast and our food was immediately handed to us while still hot.
I got the Raging Bull which was very good. The potion size was big. You can’t tell from the picture, but the bowl was really deep.
I liked all the veggies and everything else included in the bowl. It was nice to have something that tasted healthy and not eat greasy food. Some of my coworkers thought it was too much rice but I liked it and they put enough sauce in the bowl for it to flavor all the rice. It was definitely filling and it was tasty.

From the outside it looks like a super lowkey restaurant but when you walk inside it is super nice! There is a parking lot right next to it which is highly convenient. The food here is pretty heavy, my bowl lasted me from lunch until dinner. Well worth the price, and I typically don’t like beef too much but really enjoyed the Kobe Beef bowl. My friend ordered the Yakisoba which was also delicious! Service was friendly.
