I like Yoshinoya! They often have great deals on the app, which I really appreciate. I do wish there were more frequent specials for solo customers—something perfect for a quick lunch would be nice. But thank you anyway!

Today I got the $9 combo deal. The combo is usually a bit too much food for me, but since the regular bowl was $7.99, I decided to just go with the combo.

This Harbor location is probably the nicest Yoshinoya I’ve ever visited in terms of interior design. The neighborhood isn’t the best, but the store itself looks great.

I hope they open a new location in North OC, in Fullerton or Buena Park. I would definitely go there often!

The food is not bad, we like to go here every other week. But today, I felt like there’s a lot of fat in our beef, which is good tasting, but maybe might be bad for our health.

This location at 13512 harbor blv in garden grove they need better employees this is the reason why all yoshinoya are closing down. Roger the cashier guy has a really bad attitude and always messes up my order. It’s become a joke in my household to make sure Roger is not working. You guys we really love yoshinoya but honestly the people that work at this location make it hard for customers to return. I’ve been a manager for big companies and restaurants. I think you need to look into Embezzlement. This gentleman Roger always ask if you want veggies then he won’t add veggies to your bowl, then he tries to tell you that it’s an extra charge when veggies are clearly free..

Hello Yoshinoya Management,
I’m going to cut right to the chase with my review. Attached are images for your review. KAYLA P as the recipe states and I was helped by a woman. She was rude & cannot hear apparently. I placed my order at the menu board then got to window she said they couldn’t hear me what did we order I said it again. I collected receipt in which it showed VEGGIES. I simply nicely told her I didn’t want veggies she rudely took it back. Order came back to me I took it home didn’t check it as I just got off work. I get home the veggies are just scrapped off my plate and the side of chicken I ordered was unbelievably shortly portioned for $5.59? What kinda of service is that? First I thought it was weird I wanted the teriyaki ribeye and she told me sorry we ran out we don’t have anymore steak. You need to make this right because that’s unacceptable.

Coupons are definitely a reason why I continue to eat here. Food is not bad but some days it is not up to standards. Wait can go up to +15mins on busy days. On occasions, they sometimes didn’t have enough change for my cash and made me wait or gave them to me in coin rolls. Atmosphere is good and the staff are nice to me

Coming here straight after visiting Japan, I can definitely see how they americanized this chain. Had to order the gyudon, and flavors definitely were similar as to the chains back in Japan.

The rice was more dry though, but can be solved by ordering extra beef broth. Of course it can’t completely replicate Japan’s version, with the raw egg and green onions, but it’s better than nothing and hope they open more locations in other states.

Combo XL? Looks like they’re skimping out on food portions. I’ll have to visit a different yoshinoya. Vegetable cup was barely filled halfway. They even skimped me on rice.

Not impressed with food, our bowls look like floor scraps, given no condiments what so ever. The kid working clearly hates his job. This place used to be good. Unfortunately not any more

The worst meal i probably ever eaten! To start with the guy had me wait five minutes before he took my order and then once I received my order he didn’t give me my drink he didn’t give me my kids cookie he didn’t give me the Hot sauce I asked for, And the place was dead there’s absolutely no customers behind me or inside. Then once I got home my daughter couldn’t eat her food because the chicken was so hard, stale and dry that she couldn’t even bite into it. Then I open mine to find that my noodles are dry and stuck together i couldn’t tear the noodles apart. I drove 20 minutes in traffic to go get that and it was absolutely terrible!

This store has been refreshed with new seating and a new soda/ice machine. The new potatoes and “not so fried” rice are nice additions to the classic menu of steamed rice and various proteins…
