Today I got the $9 combo deal. The combo is usually a bit too much food for me, but since the regular bowl was $7.99, I decided to just go with the combo.
This Harbor location is probably the nicest Yoshinoya I’ve ever visited in terms of interior design. The neighborhood isn’t the best, but the store itself looks great.
I hope they open a new location in North OC, in Fullerton or Buena Park. I would definitely go there often!

Hello Yoshinoya Management,
I’m going to cut right to the chase with my review. Attached are images for your review. KAYLA P as the recipe states and I was helped by a woman. She was rude & cannot hear apparently. I placed my order at the menu board then got to window she said they couldn’t hear me what did we order I said it again. I collected receipt in which it showed VEGGIES. I simply nicely told her I didn’t want veggies she rudely took it back. Order came back to me I took it home didn’t check it as I just got off work. I get home the veggies are just scrapped off my plate and the side of chicken I ordered was unbelievably shortly portioned for $5.59? What kinda of service is that? First I thought it was weird I wanted the teriyaki ribeye and she told me sorry we ran out we don’t have anymore steak. You need to make this right because that’s unacceptable.
The rice was more dry though, but can be solved by ordering extra beef broth. Of course it can’t completely replicate Japan’s version, with the raw egg and green onions, but it’s better than nothing and hope they open more locations in other states.
Not impressed with food, our bowls look like floor scraps, given no condiments what so ever. The kid working clearly hates his job. This place used to be good. Unfortunately not any more
