First of all the food here is really good. I have never done a review to anywhere but the night 4/21/25 at 11pm is worth taking the time. There was two instances that are very unacceptable because I too work in customer service setting. One customer wanted to order food and when it was time to pay the cashier refused to do split payment wanted him to only use one method (saying that two is not allowed.) The young man ended up leaving because he didnt have enough cash. I get that working at night you need to be tough but she was rude with everyone that came in while we were waiting for our food. Hopefully this brings accountability to avoid situations like that in the future.

When I am in the mood for Yoshinoya, this is my go-to place. Although you may have to deal with the traffic on San Fernando Rd, including the road conditions, it is worth going. I have been to others where the location and or traffic changes my mood. This location has helpful employees, and the food is made quickly, so it is still hot when you take it to go. The food is well-made and very satisfying. Thank you Yoshi on SFRd.

I ordered a combo bowl beef and chicken teriyaki NO sauce on chicken. I trusted that Nicolas got my order right. Because its what on my receipt. When i got home, there’s sauce all over the chicken. The huy who prepared the order in the kitchen obviously don’t know how to read the order. And when Nicolas bagged my orderes I saw him checked every single orders. Why he did not say that there should be NO SAUCE on the chicken?! I can’t go back to the store because I leave far, and besides i’m too tired to drive back. I did not enjoy my food at all. I’m very very disappointed.

This isn’t the best area, traffic wise, people wise or even restaurant service wise. While the other restaurants in this busy San Fernando Rd/Fletcher Dr corner (Pollo Loco; Denny’s; McDonald’s) have either awful service, mediocre food quality or higher prices (sometimes all of those), this Yoshinoya is the exception. The service is great and food quality top notch. Worth finding a parking spot and evading occasional homeless passersby for this!
