I stopped going to Yoshinoya maybe 20 years ago. I stopped because they did not have much of a selection and the meat used in the rice bowls had too much fat on it. I seem to remember 50% fat 50% meat. Not too appetizing. However I noticed they’re still around and they made it through Covid. I figured they changed the menu and they did. The place is outstanding for this caliber of Restaurant.

This location is well kept, with friendly staff and the usual Yoshinoya standard for food. Free parking out front makes it convenient, and the facilities are clean and welcoming. We got takeout, but I’d definitely dine in here as well.

Food is as usual. Two stars for there is NO napkins in the store. Napkins for customer is for hygiene, but this restaurant doesn’t have napkins.

I miss this restaurant so much. When we lived in San Diego I would always bring home a few combo bowls for my kids. It’s so delicious . They had a YOSHINOYA in Las vegas but it closed down not long after we moved there!

On Friday 06/06/2025 Bad Service the Counter Person told me in the middle of lunch hour that they were on Break on 06/08/2025 same person there was no Original chicken availability so I ordered double beef Combo bowls and gave me next to nothing in the beef. Somebody needs to look into the Management of this Restauraunt.

Food was tasteless. Not good. It’s fast food. I asked for no ice in my drink and the cashier, Carla, gave me less drink because I asked for no ice. I had to laugh out loud at the company loyalty. I’ve never had this happen before—even at cute boba places, they still fill it all the way up. Lmaoooo. This was very stingy!

How bad did I want this? Literally ordered an Uber to go pickup my order then doubled back to the airport. Still as bomb as I remember. Had a 13-hour layover in LAX and was craving some beef bowl so I decided why not, right? Got the XL combo teriyaki chicken and beef with white rice and veggies: 10/10
Also shoutout to my Uber driver Avraham! Very chill dude and awesome to be around. He said the food smelt really good and that he’s never been to Yoshinoya in all his 8 years living here (I gasped, I was lowkey appalled). Not to worry though, I gave him the extra plate I got (my big back didn’t need it anyway) and he was very thankful.
