The service was amazing! Our waitress was very attentive and very nice. The rolls are very well portioned and some of it was filled with a large portion of fish! It was an amazing meal and we had a great time! We came when they were just about to change the name of the restaurant to Mr Sushi. I would advise everyone to go to their grand opening since they ad having half off on some of their dishes.

Our waitress Brittany was very well educated about the food and have wonderful service! Small businesses like this don’t get enough credit! I was very impressed with the menu because they have the option two get three different rolls of sushi for a very good deal. I’ve had trouble finding that at others places.

This was our first time at Yoshi’s, and the food was delicious. My hubby had the teriyaki shrimp, and I had 2 sushi rolls, which are humongous. All was prepared fresh and took no time. The service was great.

The atmosphere at lunch time was quiet and not busy at all. Expected to have a better meal since we were the only people in there. Whoever the hostess/ waitress was at this time was very unprofessional, she dressed inappropriately (very short shorts) and was monotone when talking to us. No effort was made to make us feel appreciated for being there, especially being our first time. I ordered the specialty spider roll. In my opinion $12 for only 5 rolls was not a good deal, especially when the sushi is falling apart when it came to me on the plate. The steak had no seasoning, our shrimp was overcooked, the yum yum sauce is loaded with white vinegar and mayo taste. The rice was gummy, and the vegetables for the hibachi were undercooked. The best thing about my whole lunch was the gyoza we ordered as an appetizer and my beer. Even the salad sides and soup sides were bad, the lettuce for the salad was cut into big chunks of romaine, and the soup had particulate floating around in it. I also ordered a bento sushi box which also was not great. The sushi was falling apart and hard/tough. Hopefully I do not get sick from eating at this place, anyone else please be aware!

The sushi was great! Everything was fresh! Our server, Cidia, recommended us really good options and they did not disappoint! She definitely deserves the absolute most pay! Would definitely recommend you come and try this place out! Don’t judge this place by other reviews just come try it for yourself.

My family and I came here while visiting white lake NC, drove about an hour from our rental house. It was definitely worth the drive!! My husband and I love sushi and trying a different sushi place everywhere we visit, if I’m ever back in this area I will definitely come to this sushi place again! The waitress was so friendly and accommodating to our kids and was very upbeat and helpful to us. The food was wonderful and fresh but fast!! The restaurant seemed very clean and had a wonderful atmosphere.

I’m not sure what has happened with the sushi but the flavor is not there anymore. I ordered spicy tuna, spicy shrimp and nothing about it was spicy. The tuna actually tasted like it was from a can, very fishy tasting. If I wanted canned tuna, I would have opened my own can. The spicy shrimp was precooked shrimp cut in chunks with, I assume, yum yum sauce? I have no clue what the sauce is but it didn’t have flavor anyways. This is definitely the last time we go there. Judge for yourself… I wasn’t impressed ♀️

This was an excellent experience! There was plenty of seating, our waitress was so sweet and attentive, and the food was delicious! I was so shocked not to see more people there on a Saturday night! If you love sushi, you NEED to try this place! They also have ramen bowls, hibachi, teriyaki, and bento boxes! You’ll have to excuse my seaweed salad as I had already eaten half before I remembered to snap a picture. This place is also SUPER affordable! Definitely give it a try!

This was a really terrible experience. My husband’s sushi was room temperature, and my sweet potato tempura sushi was cold and had almost no sweet potato in it. When my daughter’s kids meal came out (shrimp and rice), I was shocked that it was almost all onions and a few, very over cooked shrimp. Then, when I finally got my chicken teriyaki, I couldn’t believe there could possibly be more onions at our meal. But alas, I had a GIANT plate of onions topped with chewy chicken and almost no teriyaki sauce. Never in my life have I seen chicken teriyaki served on a heaping bed of onions. We talked to the owner, and he gave only a discount and insisted that the food is good. It was so bad that it was inedible. We left it uneaten on the table and went to Islands instead.
