The appetizers were so amazing! The takoyaki and the soy milk creamy croquette were so delicious. The sauce that came on them were so good. The ramen was absolutely amazing as well. I had the Tokyo Shoyu which was perfect and my fiance had the house spicy garlic ramen level two and it was SPICY but that’s exactly what he was looking for. Service was great as well. We will definitely be back!

The noodles were cooked to perfection, the broth was rich and flavorful, and thank goodness for our amazing server who convinced me to go with medium spice instead of level 3 — she saved me because it definitely brought the heat!
The restaurant is very clean, beautifully decorated, and has such a welcoming atmosphere.

I had the spicy garlic ramen ( asked them to make it vegerarian) and it was amazing. I asked them to make a 2 for spice and it was quite spicy. We went on a Friday evening at 6 30 and had a 20 mins wait time. The place is small, but the ambience is very nice. Service was super quick. Overall great experience and will come again for the spicy garlic ramen. I am also looking forward to their milk tea which is apparently coming soon

Let me start by saying I’m a ramen snob. My husband and I are originally from Hawaii, so trust me when I say I know what a good bowl of ramen is. Hawaii is filled with hole-in-the-wall ramen joints; all family-run with fresh ingredients and handmade everything: the broth, the noodles, the chashu, the shoyu egg, etc. Everything is made to perfection, and that’s the standard I hold ramen to.
So when I say the ramen at Yoshi Ramen is great, know that I don’t say that lightly. The House Spicy Garlic Ramen is my current obsession and absolutely THE best I’ve had in the suburbs so far. Level 2 spice is perfect for me: just the right amount of heat, though it may be too much for some. You can tell they take their time making the pork tonkotsu broth because it’s so perfectly creamy with a well-balanced flavor profile and, most importantly, not salty! The noodles are perfect too—though the first time I felt they were just a teeny bit overdone, our second and third visits proved flawless execution.
My husband is currently obsessed with their Chicken Katsu Donburi Bowl. The panko breading is spot-on for texture, and the chicken itself isn’t too oily. I personally loved the Berkshire Gyoza, though my husband only thought it was okay. To me, it was perfectly delicious, a little fattier than normal gyoza, which I appreciate. The Chicken Karaage is excellent too! Crispy with a light seasoning/breading blend and juicy on the inside. Love that it comes with spicy mayo for dipping. Our server also suggested mixing in some Sriracha with the mayo, and he was right—it made it even better! The Parmesan Truffle Fries were so good too. They use the thicker-cut fries that crisp up beautifully, and you can tell the oil is fresh with no weird aftertaste.
The service is stellar. All the servers are attentive, polite, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Matthew especially was fantastic, so enthusiastic, upbeat, and knowledgeable about the menu. One of the best servers we’ve had in a long time! The atmosphere is lovely as well. The decor is a perfect blend of modern with traditional Japanese touches. I absolutely love the ceiling with the wooden lanterns and maple leaves, it reminded us of the shopping alleys and architecture of a traditional Japanese village. Very charming!
On our most recent visit, the owner stopped by our table and chatted with us. It was wonderful getting to know him, and he thanked us for returning. He remembered us from our first two visits and joked with us about it—so funny! Definitely a great experience, and I know we’ll be back again soon.
I highly recommend the mandarin ice cream bar too, it was delicious, sort of like a creamsicle. Still waiting on that hot sake machine though! Hope they get it in soon.
If you want the best tonkotsu ramen in Chicagoland, come to Yoshi Ramen. One visit and you’ll surely be coming back again and again, just like us!

This is our third time visiting, and the food has been consistently delicious! The Karaage Curry Ramen is packed with flavor — definitely our favorite. We also tried the Honey Sriracha Korean Fried Chicken, and it was addicting. We’ve tried multiple other items on the menu and everything we’ve had so far has been great.
The service has been incredible every single time. We’ve had Matthew a few times now, and he’s always so passionate and upbeat which truly makes a difference and keeps us coming back.

First time here with my family. Was very easy to find a place to sit, ordered different kinds of Ramen and every single bowl was delicious. Matthew took great care of us today, and we are looking forward to visiting this restaurant again. Definitely one of our favorite places now, and even our 4 year old daughter loved every meal.

My husband and I decided to give this place a try. We enjoyed the pork burns they were delicious the pork was juicy and flavorful. The ramen has a generous portion of meat. It was fairly busy but we didn’t have to wait too long to be seated. I would highly recommend giving it a try the food and service both were great!!

Yoshi Ramen in Naperville is a cozy new spot that might become our go-to for ramen. Went with my family and the menu has a nice variety — tried their spicy garlic and shoyu ramen, and kids had the plain ramen with karaage. Big portion and solid taste. The spicy garlic ramen especially hits the spot with good depth and kick. The place feels fresh and welcoming, and the staff are super friendly and happy to explain the menu. Especially Matthew, he makes the place happy and nice. Prices are typical a little on the higher side but it’s nominal for any ramen place. Overall it’s a great addition near our area and good place if you are craving a comforting bowl of ramen. Next time will be trying their chicken wings, it looked good on the table next to us 😀

We’ve been here already over 5 times , we absolutely love this Japanese restaurant! The ramen is incredibly delicious—rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared every time my 3 years old son loves it. The entire menu has such great quality, and you can really taste the freshness in every dish.
