We decided to give this restaurant an opportunity and it was wonderful! The staff was great too ! We sat at the bar had delicious, fresh sushi and sashimi.
The presentation was perfect. Our price point was a bit more because we did have beer and sake with a meal.

My boyfriend and I came on a week day night and were hoping for fresh sushi and hibachi plates. We ordered one sushi roll and two hibachi steak plates. Our roll and my plate came out at the same time.The roll was okay. I ordered my steak medium rare and when I got my plate the steak was well done and the rice was cold. About 15-20 minutes later my boyfriend received his plate. His steak was supposed to be rare. It came out nearly raw and cold as well, however his rice was fresh. The picture shows the difference in his steak on the left and mine on the right. I was severely disappointed with the service and food we received for a $70 dinner.

Soft shell crab was delicious and the hibachi was entertaining as well as top notch offerings! From the rice to the proteins and veges – everything was on point and its definitely earned many more return trips. Still shocked some how it has a 4.1 rating because its most certainly a 5 across the board.

Our first visit was 8pm on a weekday evening so we were hoping the food would be fresh and we were not disappointed. My husband had a Shrimp Tempura roll and I had an Hollywood roll. Our server was very pleasant, attentive and cheerful. We’re heading back there for lunch 😉
Update…we returned and we all ordered the Shrimp Tempura dinner (pic). Lived in and traveled to many states and that was the best we ever had! Thank you.

I have eaten here for a long time spent thousands of dollars here over the years. The last two times I have gotten sushi or any food from here it has been very terrible. The sushi rolls weren’t even made correctly. Missing ingredients in them made with all rice rolled up. The Fuji mountain roll had about one small piece of shrimp in the whole thing instead of the big nice shrimp tempura it is supposed to have. Spent $150 on sushi for the family to eat for lunch that has bad fish , is not made right, every roll is all rice with very little to almost nothing for ingredients on the inside. I have never been so disappointed in a restaurant. I honestly wish we could give them negative stars on here for this terrible terrible excuse of food they sold expecting people to not notice. Really!! I will be driving to Harrison to get sushi from now on. Don’t make the food if you don’t have the ingredients to do it.

I ate here about 10 years ago and never went back, not sure why. Over the years I’ve attempted to go back, but they always seemed to be closed or shut down. I tried again yesterday and they were open and serving food like normal. I love Japanese cuisine, so I am pleasantly excited to try a variety of their dishes. Price and value was pretty good, and we did get full.

The Hibachi Grill was great. Our chef was amazing with his flying knife and spatula, friendly and spoke good English. The squid was perfectly cooked tender and succulent. The other ladies enjoyed their chicken, steak and scallops. Almost everyone took home enough fried rice and veggies for another meal. Gotta go back soon!
