Large portions, food was fresh & tasted great! The wait staff was hustling but stayed on top of everything. Inside was refreshingly cool considering it was oppressively hot outside. We had the raw oysters on the half shell, jumbo fried shrimp, fried oyster sandwich & crab dip. We will definitely go there again!!

Absolutely a must visit if you are in the Yorktown or Colonial Area. This was the second time I have been here and it was just a great as the first. The service is expedient and friendly. They have a vast food and drink options. You will experience an over all great atmosphere near the water. I can’t wait till my next visit!

first time ever been in the area Newport News is a very interesting place to hang out and eat right here on the beach was really awesome we decided because there was no parking to park at Yorktown park and eat there the atmosphere was pretty good chairs were so close to each other that people coming in and out would bump into your back or push you so that was a little irritating TV sets everywhere with the fight on and was very entertaining if you drink there was plenty of alcohol to be had if you don’t drink like us everything was no problem wasn’t like it was some kind of crazy discotheque or something like that real neat that it’s right here on the beach. Food was good drinks were good everyone had a great time great meal

New England clam chowder – sooo good! My husband had the prime rib sandwich. Cooked exactly how he wanted it, tender as prime rib should be, a very satisfying sandwich. I had a half order of fried shrimp. Right off I could tell the quality of the shrimp. We have added this as a “go to” when we’re in the area!

Small place with a very elcetic interior. Food was great with high marks for the oyster sandwich. Fries were cooked to perfection, nice and crispy with great texture. We had been to Water Street Grille during our last visit. It was nice to, however Yorktown Pubs food was equally as good with better pricing and larger portions.

The food was amazing, we had the cheeseburgers with horseradish cheddar, fries, potato salad, and two bowls of their chili. Food was out in no time. Bartender was polite, friendly, good conversation with her. They were busy but you wouldn’t know as the staff all had great attitudes. I would recommend this place to be first on your list if.ypur in the Yorktown area.

Our new favorite seafood place!!! Right off the beach in Yorktown – great seafood, great service, heady beach vibes. Crab dip is a must. Hush puppies were not dry – very nice to dip in a cup of clammies. Fried shrimp was warm ‘n fresh, nice size skrimps too!

I really do like this place. But, their sandwiches are just one point off from being fantastic. I ordered the Prime Rib Sandwish with Horseradish Chaddar. The meat was cooked to order. Had fresh tomatoe and lettuce. All within a properly breaded bun. The Horseradish Chaddar Cheese didn’t really bring out the Horseradish, in my opinion. It just seemed this special sandwish needed something more than to just squeeze mayonnaise out of a packet. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good sandwich. I just think it could be a great sandwich with the right sauce. The Red Skin Potatoe Salad was on point! It was creamy and filled with tasty red potatoes. I also had fried Oysters on the side, which blew me out of my chair with their enormous size and perfectly fried crust. Each one took several dips into the cocktail sauce and bites to consume. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They worked quickly to find us a seat outside. The server frequently came around to check on us. The night was complete with a walk on the beach, which is just out the front door. I highly recommend this place and even if you have to drive a distance to get their.
