The atmosphere is charming, and the location couldn’t be better, as it’s situated right within the Yale University campus, which gives it a special, grand, and authentic vibe. The pizzas are truly delicious, with dough and flavors that stand out for their quality and freshness. Overall, it was an excellent experience.
However, I’m giving it 4 stars due to a couple of issues. I ordered a Diet Coke, but they brought me an extremely sweet soda that was clearly not Diet Coke. When I asked again, they insisted it was, which I found odd.
The service isn’t the best either; they could definitely be friendlier.
Also, the pizzas take quite a while to be ready, so it’s important to go with some patience. That said, the wait is worth it for the quality of the food.

I recently tried the Yorkshire Special at Yorkshire Pizza, and hands down, it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had! Priced at $17.50 for a small, $26.25 for a medium, and $31.75 for a large, this pizza is loaded with toppings like sausage, bacon, onion, pepperoni, mushrooms, and green peppers, all on their signature pizza primavera crust. The crust was perfectly crispy, and every bite was packed with delicious, savory flavors. The balance of toppings was spot on, making each slice a delight. If you’re looking for a pizza that hits all the right notes, the Yorkshire Special is a must-try!

I had a very unpleasant experience here. We had already left a tip on the table for our server, but when we went to the counter to split the bill, the person at the counter — who said he was the **owner** — insisted that we pay another tip. He said it was mandatory and wouldn’t let us leave until we did. He also mentioned that he doesn’t allow his employees to take the tips directly, which was shocking. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and made the whole experience very uncomfortable.

It was okay but it really needs to focus on a core menu and work on getting better food. The portion size was okay. I would classify this as a college pizza place that tastes like basic college pizza. The burger meat was meh and the best thing I could say about the burger was the tomatoes and lettuce. The price was good for what you got but I would only eat there if I couldn’t find another place before watching the band next door. The atmosphere was Yale college which is no surprise and while the bathroom was clean college kids do what college kids do as shown in the photos.

We were out of town and stopped by for some pizza. We had a great time, the pizza was great and greek salad was perfect. Nice family place.
We went back a second time and had an experience of a life time. We started out with this wings which are truly amazing and proceeded to order most of their Greek food. If you like home made Greek food, then this is the place to go.

I had the Mediterranean, which is tuna, anchovies, crab. I added spinach and fresh garlic.
My husband had the Yorkside special pizza, which he ate all of so I assume he loved it…
Our other kids all got pizzas of their choosing, and all ate a lot!!
We also got a bottle of wine.
We were just passing through and walking through the Yale campus, so we are happy that we stumbled by this place.

This was the most sorriest excuse for a pizza. This pizza was worse than pizzas I had in elementary school. I usually enjoy yorkside a whole lot , so much so I tell other people to get it . But this was down right the worst pizza i have ever had . The crust was somehow burnt and not done at the same time . They threw a whole bunch of nasty cheese up there. The bacon is not even done , i didn’t notice that until i already ate a slice and was home . I really wish i Could get my 20$ back . 20$ for a medium one topping pizza is portions ridiculous. I wouldn’t even give my dogs this filth . PLEASE DO BETTER! beyond disappointed i feel robbed
