While eating at a restaurant across the street we noticed this new business. Stopped in for dinner a few days later after seeing a few good reviews on Google. The only thing we found to be outstanding in this old diner was the service. Our server was absolutely fantastic, friendly, and attentive. Even though the diner was busy, our server was extremely prompt with our menus, silverware, drinks, dinner, and dessert. Such a shame that she has to work in an old run down building that is in such dire need of a modern refresh. Training of the cook staff is very questionable. The beef in our cheesesteak sandwich/sub as well as the fried chicken in our wrap were extremely over cooked, dry and tough. The quantity of beef on our cheesesteak sandwich/sub was quite paltry and didnt even cover the bottom side of the roll it was so sparse. So basically we paid for a bread roll with just a meager amount of tasteless, over cooked and dry chopped beef on it. Had to pay extra for fries because the sandwich/sub only comes with a little bag of potato chips. The fried chicken breast patty in our chicken wrap tasted like it had just come out of the freezer and was reheated in a microwave, then cooked again in a deep fryer. YUCK! A restaurant only gets one change to make a good first impression when they first open for business, and Yorkshire Diner did the exact opposite with us.

My work and I doordashed a larger order at 7am. Lunch, dinner, and breakfast items. The store called us to ask questions about our toast choices to ensure accuracy. The ham loaf and chicken stir fry were some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. No one had any complaints and we plan to make this our normal spot moving forward. I highly recommend their food.

We got breakfast takeout. It was pretty good. Home fries were bland though. Omelette was good. Portions were decent. No flat wear provided. Friendly person over the phone. We would eat from here again.

Took my granddaughter for breakfast on Valentine’s Day. They made her heart shaped pancakes with whipped cream and strawberries. Their food is delicious , great prices and everyone is very friendly. Our waitress was Ariana. She was amazing . Went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. We will definitely be back .

There were egg shells in our salad. Large uncut lettuce in our salad. They did not bring the salad oit until the main cource. And the soda selections was poor at best.
