I’m not a big specialty pizza lover so i tried the classic cheese slice. Very underwhelming for the price, you pay a premium price for a less than premium pizza. I gave it a 2 out of 5 stars based on taste, quality & price. #NaldoughRates

**Update **

I’m not a competitor or a hater. I’m a regular customer that walked in & ordered a regular cheese slice. I drive all around NYC so I’ve been to almost every pizza spot there is in NYC, NJ & CT. I’ve never actually reviewed online, so outside of talking to friends and family i really haven’t done any online review’s. But just having one review and no picture doesn’t make my review invalid because one thing is for sure i know the difference between good and bad pizza it’s a very simple recipe. So after today ill be adding a picture if that makes my reviews more credible plus my full name is already there im not hiding anything. Your pizza isn’t bad but compared to other pizzas I’ve had at a better price this is a very underwhelming slice of pizza. I’ve also had pizza at a similar price and higher that are better in taste and quality. I don’t mean to come off as you said a “hater” but this was my experience so this is my honest review.

(Just an aside instead of trying to invalidate my review welcoming me back in would’ve been a better reply)

Absolutely love their pizza so much so that even my bosses can’t stop talking about it. We order from here pretty often, and I’ll sometimes come by on my own too. I almost wanted to gatekeep this spot because it does get busy, but it’s honestly too good not to share. The thin crust is perfect, with flavors that really pop. Their iced latte is also a win, not too earthy, just smooth and balanced.

Perfect on a frigid night for this visitor visiting HSS. The grandma crust is the best I’ve ever had, ever! slices with fresh mozz/pesto/vodka were delicious. And so hoping for some veg, they made the perfectly executed broccoli w garlic and oil. All that plus a super nice friendly team! Thanks!

Hands down, best pizza you’ll find in the UES if not NYC in general.

I’ve lived in this neighborhood for over 10 years and tried almost every pizza spot between 60th – 80th street in the yorkville area, and York Ave pizza is well ahead of the rest.

I’ll start with the crust. Pretty standard NYC pizza crust, just the right amount of thickness, crunchy and delicious, good crust-stability always. For the thicker grandma or pan pies it’s also crispy and delicious. The sauces and toppings really make this spot the best. Whether it’s vodka or classic tomato sauce, you can’t go wrong, but I will say they make some of the best vodka sauce I’ve ever had. My go to pie is the crazy grandma or grateful bread , where you get the perfect mix of marinara/vodka/pesto. The mozzarella is fresh and delicious. And most importantly they have SEXY PEPPERONI , the little pepperoni cups that curl up when cooked.

Their mozzarella sticks are also the best I’ve had, hand breaded and gently fried to a crisp im sure. I’ve also had their pasta and sandwiches, and nothing has disappointed.

If you haven’t tried this spot then get to it. RUN don’t walk to have one of the best pies you’ll eat in the city.

Finally got to try York pizza been waiting all week for my cheat meal. They did not let me down.
The place is super clean, nice vibe, loved the exposed brick wall. All the pizza were just made fresh. I got there right after they opened. So It was tough to pick what to eat, it all looked so good and tasty. I went to the classic pepperoni sicilian x2.
The sicilian was nice size crispy good balance of cheese and sauce. Would of like more pepperoni but the amount was ok. The employees were all very nice. I will come back again on my next cheat meal.

Wow! Okay I work around the area and my coworker told me to try this place. I’m use to ordering from Little Italy but this will quickly take their spot soon. Their slices are amazing. And they have cool twists on Sicilians and grandma slices. I just have the drunk grandma and I ate it before i could take a picture. I just got cheese garlic knots. Everything is 10/10

It’s a little expensive, but it’s REALLY good. They make some of the craziest specialty pies which are always amazing. The fresh prince pizza is like what you remember pizza hut being in the 90s, the Buff-a-lexico is to die for, and they will gladly make fun combinations for you. Slices are so filling though that you get multiple meals out of it.

The staff are great, food is great, highly recommend.

I decided to stop in and get some pizza while in the area and I was underwhelmed. There was no plain slices and all the slices looked like they had been sitting out for awhile.

Against my better judgement I decided to try a vodka slice and a pesto slice. Both slices came out to over $15 and didn’t really have much flavor.

For the price, I’d go elsewhere.

Hands down the best GF pizza I’ve had to date – the Twister is the way to go. The quality and taste reminds me so much of Rubirosa, especially because of the thin crispy crust. I will definitely be going back for sure.
