Great food,great prices,great people, been ordering for years. Take out is all I do. It would be nice if they fixed up and made a nicer place to dine in.

Great food, bad pictures.
Don’t let the photos fool you—this place is a gem. We tried the pork fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, pork dumplings, pork egg rolls, and crab Rangoon, and everything was genuinely delicious. You can tell it’s all made from scratch with quality ingredients, not the usual greasy or overly salty takeout.
The portion sizes are generous, the food was hot and fresh, and it’s an excellent value overall. The dumplings and egg rolls had great texture and flavor, and the sweet and sour chicken was perfectly balanced—not too sweet or too soggy.
It’s family-owned with friendly, efficient service, and they clearly care about what they’re doing. Definitely a solid choice for takeout, and we’ll be adding it to our regular rotation when we’re at the cabin. Highly recommend.

Has to be the oddest Asian food restaurant I have been to with the food. All the reviews said it was the best in the area so we decided to give it a try.
All the sauce in the food we ordered was like a thick jelly rather than a liquid. The “jelly” stuck to the food and lacked a flavor so it did not enhance or elevate the main ingredients.
Maybe we will try some steamed dishes in the future, try and avoid the jelly.

The crab rangoons here are some of my favorites around! We take advantage of most opportunities (since moving away) to get Yopo when we’re back in the area. The Chinese restaurants closer to us just aren’t quite as good as we’re used to with Yopo.

Yo Po is arguably the best Chinese place I’ve found around here in terms of balancing price and quality. $8 after tax for this lunch special is a bargain—undercutting the cost of most McDonalds meals while being way healthier. Their fried rice and lo mein are top contenders compared to all other Chinese restaurants I’ve tried in NEPA.
Being a North Pocono graduate, I’ve eaten from here for years and their food has always been consistently good. When I moved to Scranton I really started to miss it. Now that I work at the Verizon store in the same plaza, I’ve been grabbing lunch from here at least once a week. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Always so excited when we come up for the weekend to get Yopo, they have the best dumplings ever!! It’s always the highlight of the trip.

I got my meal and was immediately disappointed to see that it was 2/3 rice and only 1/3 what I actually ordered. However, the redeemed themselves a bit with quality taste. It’s just a cheap business move to try and increase their profit margin… But they are a small family business, so I get it. But I still wish the meal was 2/3 and rice was only 1/3. Also, they have good wonton soup

Got the small veggies with garlic sauce dish. It tasted good, the quantity was good too for the price. Also got spring roll, it was too bland.
