Food isnt hot. Service was quick and portions are great but quality is lacking. We ate in store. Getting the plate, the meat-jun and rice was barely warm. FRESH Meat-jun and steam rice should be very hot meaning it was sitting outside for a while. Disappointed. Other reviews have said the same thing.

Ordered the Kalbi beef, teriyaki chicken. Sides were cabbage,macaroni, garlic potatoes and corn. You get to choose 4 sides. There were plenty of other options, like my husband got the kimchi for one of his sides. Everything was good. The chicken was a bit tough and super over cooked but the flavor was good. We stumbled upon this place and it was a great choice after a 4 hour hike. Had leftovers and heat up the chicken in the microwave and it tenderized it a little bit. Kinda on the expensive side, $20/plate.

Found this place by accident and was definitely not disappointed. I got the chicken katsu and my mom got the kalbi plate. The side dishes were amazing and portion sizing was insane I only ate half of my plate. Would definitely come again!

I like this place. I always get their regular kalbi plates. Kalbi is delicious, portion is generous and you get to pick 4 sides!! This is my go-to place when I crave Korean good!

I was the first one in on Saturday June 7,2025. I ordered a meat jun. People kept coming in and I waited and waited and waited for my order. 3 groups of people who came in after me got their food and I was still waiting. Apparently these people who had called in, have priority, it didn’t matter if I was their first live customer thru the door. I kept asking the man at the counter where my order was and he stuck his head to the back and said where’s the regular meat jun, meanwhile a whole tray of meat jun came out. Why couldn’t they cook extra while they were preparing the tray, I have only 1 order?
So 45 minutes later my order came up. He was preparing the customer’s order who just came in, so I asked him if my order was the one on the counter. The place has great food, but the service personnel SUCKS! 🙁

Delicious food, generous portions, good service. You really should visit if you’re hungry in Kaneohe.
You get rice, a protein, and four choices of ban chan (veggie sides like kimchee or cooked bean sprouts).
The ambiance is definitely “greasy spoon”, but the food is really good quality, and, since its take out only, you’re only there for a few minutes, the dated decor is not really an issue.

The mini meat Jun is a winner. The meat was tasty and tender, tasted fresh. Barely any fat. The egg was just right thickness with the perfect consistency and outer crisp. Generous portions. The seaweed and chop chae were just as excellent and made with love.Not yummy- it’s delicious!
