Well, I decided to try this place on my day off for a to go order, while waiting I read the reviews. I checked my receipt, and there is a charge for to go orders of $1.99 plus the credit fee $4.99, which I saw after I paid for my order.

This was a great place for breakfast. Blueberry pancakes were great. I truly enjoyed the fluffy inside and the burst of each blueberry with every bite. And the pineapple mimosa was great. Our server was friendly and fast. The atmosphere was lovely. Beautifully decorated. Be sure to bring cash or there’s a charge for using your card. Not a lot but just a heads up. We went around 9 am to beat the crowd and the ENTIRE menu is available all day, no matter if you want pancakes and bacon or fried wings and fries they are ready for you. Kinda small but they get you in quickly. We didn’t feel rushed at all. Two thumbs up gone me.

I am a long time patron of Yoolks on Us, usually the Washington St. location. Unfortunately, they seem to be real busy so I opted to place a call in order at the Portsmouth Blvd. location. The food was mediocre at best. The pancakes, which are my favorite, tasted awful. Sausage tasted like it was made yesterday and they just put it in the microwave. The potatoes had no taste at all. It is hard to mess up breakfast. Also I told the young lady over the phone that I was paying with cash and later on I saw that they charge me a credit card fee. Make sure you check your receipt. Will not be returning to this location.

Food was amazing. Definitely a 10 star if I could rate it that. Definitely will return highly highly highly recommended to anyone… The owner, his self very interacted with the people checked on me, and my fiancé, numerous times!!!! Watch your bill if you dine in. I was like, “wait. What?” The food is amazing. They won’t substitute anything so don’t ask. When I got my bill, I thought it was a little high because we had a carryout order with it. Come to find out, I was charged a take out charge, a credit card service fee AND get this, my server Daeja already added gratuity for two people dining in. I didn’t catch it, thinking it was my takeout order, so I also added gratuity which was BETTER than hers I might add! I got the print receipt button which I still had to ask for and here we are…Her gratuity was 18%!!!!!!! (So I called to speak to the supervisor) she informed me that any bill over $50 gets 18% gratuity added. Again for two people dining in is a terrible practice. If it were 5+ I get it but this is a terrible assumption that you won’t get a tip. I’m pretty disappointed. She (the supervisor) told me that I could come back in to get my money back) to which I don’t have time because I’m in town because my grandmother passed away. I’ll know better next time and now you do as well.

Just opened and seems to be way better to the patrons, however the potato’s do seem to be a bit under cooked. All in all I would rather eat here then at their sister restaurant downtown Portsmouth.
