Life’s Good
This is our second time eating here, and it never disappoints. On our most recent visit, we ordered the beef bulgogi, which came with all the delicious side dishes, and the bibimbap. Everything was flavorful and satisfying.

We ordered the bulgogi mild, but it still had a nice kick, so I imagine the spicy option is really spicy! The bibimbap was served in a hot marble bowl, which added a nice crisp to the food and kept it warm until the very end. If I had one small wish, it would be for a bit more meat in the bibimbap, but overall it was still very good.

If you love Korean food, this is the place! The lady who helped us was very kind and helpful, and there was plenty of parking available. Highly recommended!

We craved Korean food while traveling so we stopped by. It was either here or Tasty Korean. We didn’t get to try Tasty Korean but Yong’s Korean Kitchen was good. Better than we expected. Their lunch special is decent but limited. Only three choices. I wish the portion was a little larger but we didn’t leave hungry. From the pictures, Tasty Korean seems to have a larger selection. Everything we had was good and they refilled the banchans without any issues. We had our Korean food fix so no complaints.

Tasty authentic Korean. The bibimbop was perfectly served in stone pot. I especially like the crispiness of the rice when served in the stone pot. I also shared the seafood pancake – delicious! Cozy atmosphere very friendly. I will come here every time i visit Colorado Springs.

Cute restaurant. We were the only guests there so it was a little odd to be sat right under the TV that the owner and waitress were watching, felt very “watched” as we were finishing up our meal. Food was served promptly, fresh and hot. Good flavor to the bulgogi, fried rice a little greasy but overall very good. Fried dumplings were by far my favorite.

This place is AMAZING. The food is excellent, the service is great, and the prices are reasonable. Now, it does get busy where the wait time might be long but trust me, IT IS WORTH IT. The amount of flavor and love in each dish is obvious. Definitely recommend their soups and appetizers.

I stumbled upon Yong’s Korean Kitchen during my stay in Colorado Springs. I was in town for work and had planned to eat at the restaurant in my hotel. As I made my way from my hotel room to the restaurant, I came across a sign that said it was closed for a private party. I turned to my Door Dash app to look for something tasty.

As I perused the offerings from my Door Dash app, I was immediately drawn to Yong’s Korean Kitchen. The reviews were good and I was hoping I could rely on it.

Although I didn’t eat inside the establishment, Yong’s was great about taking a photo of the bagged order prior to the Door Dash rep’s arrival.

Soon, I was able to pick up my delivery from outside the hotel lobby doors and hurriedly carried it back to my room. The elevators smelled of delicious Korean food, which might be awful for those unfamiliar with the strong aroma.

Upon opening the bag, it came with multiple styrofoam to go boxes. The first box contained the main dish: beef bulgogi; the second: Steamed rice, and the last box: an assortment of banchan (side dishes).

The bulgogi was still very hot and I devoured it with the steamed rice and the pickled veggies. That first bite was so satisfying! There was plenty of bulgogi, banchan and steamed rice so I was able to make and extra 2 meals from it.

Overall, Yong’s exceeded my expectations – the food was the best meal I had during my stay in Colorado Springs. It turned out to be a great solo birthday dinner during my business travels. Thank you, Yong’s!

So, I saw this place on a tiktok. I didn’t realize how close it was and it was in a spot I pass by every day to drop my friend off after work. I had never noticed it. I told my brother about it and we, along with my friend, decided to stop by to try it out.

It was very quiet as we were the only customers in there at the time. The woman there was so nice. She took our order.. my friend and I got the bulgogi bowl, and my brother ordered the kimchi-jjigae (kimchi soup). We ordered fried mandu (dumplings) and a kimchi pancake to snack on before the meal. Sooooo delicious!

We received our meals and it just smelled so good and tasted amazing. My brother, after taking his first bite of the soup, had paused and closed his eyes. He stayed like that for a moment..and when he came to, he said, “This tastes exactly how Grandma made it.” Our grandma passed away in 2013, and we thought we would never taste anything like her cooking ever again. She was a Korean woman who made so much good food for us growing up and having meals with her was one of our fondest memories.
My brother let me try a bite and indeed.. tastes exactly how she made it.

Everything was perfect and I can’t wait to go back again soon. I am so grateful.

I love coming here. I always order the Bulgogi so I don’t know a lot about the rest of the menu but they serve it extra spicy like I like and it’s always delicious and juicy, but the Bonchon is the star for me. All their sides are so good and they are generous with them.

I got my usual spicy pork bulgogi and it was very good. Hot sizzling dish, so you end up with a few charred pieces. Mandu was good, too. Lots of banchan options. Service was quick and friendly. Simple interior, but it was clean and well lit. I’d go back!
