Cozy, family-run fixture serving traditional Burmese fare such as spicy curries & noodle soups.

The best Burmese cuisine I have tried in the US of A! Fantastic food, lovely people and awesome service. Highly recommended. I had indian-burmese fusion samosas, Yangon street cafes style, the best I ever had!
Monthinga is good although pretty mild for my taste. More than decent warm mushy tofu. One of the best Nangyithoke. Complementary sago pudding is great too. We didn’t have the time for dessert so they packed it for us. Can’t recommend them enough.

I wanted to try some Burmese food and thankfully this place was closest. I entered early in the late afternoon and the place was delightfully empty but yet open for early dinner. This place really felt like a family-run restaurant, extremely inviting, and Mr Timt(?), the host was very kind and helpful to me as I have only had Burmese food once and it was a long time ago. I had the Shan noodles, which my host suggested I put two spoonful of soup on, and everything about this dish was perfect. The noodles I think are homemade they were perfect and chewy. The beat I chose was chicken but it was so complex I thought that you could only reach that level of complexity with pork but it was definitely chicken and all mixed together it was a brilliant dish, outrageously good. I had the chicken and potato Curry and that was excellent as well, nowhere near as complex but simple good food and I like this kind of Curry very much. My host was so friendly he gave me a sampler dish of fried tofu in the Burmese style, which has a texture of tofu I’ve never experienced before was almost like a banana or buttery it’s hard to explain but it was very good. And then there were also very small samusas, and they were delicious too. I was pretty much full at that point but I couldn’t not try these they were a gift and also extraordinarily good with this dipping sauce. I ended with Burmese tea which is a milk tea let it hit the spot. I will definitely be back because I’m already craving those Shan noodles again and wish I brought more home for takeout. Or maybe I’ll try their fish soup and noodles next time. It was an excellent experience on all fronts

Just letting you know, this is a mom & pop place, so don’t expect your food to come out quick. BUT when it does, it’s well worth your wait! In the meantime, make sure you bring someone you can enjoy a nice conversation with. When the food comes out, you won’t be saying much, once you’re stuffing yourself with good food here!
One thing to note, is the taste of their milk tea was more on the bitter-copper side of things. Not bad, but I’d probably get another drink next time.
Pro-tip: Their fried beef- If you can’t finish it there, and take it to go, make sure to put it in another container before warming it up in the microwave. You’ll save yourself from burning the to-go box. Trust me!

The food and environment feel undeniably authentic and homemade. I was referred by a Burmese friend and I’m so glad I came. Pro tip: two spoonfuls of soup go into the Shan Noodles to provide the right level of moisture when mixing. The crunchy tea salad and fried Burmese tofu are delicious and unlike anything I’ve had before. Highly recommend.

My first time having Burmese food and this place did not disappoint.
Tea Leaf Salad
– light, refreshing and super flavorful with a nice crunch from the nuts
Mo Hin Ga Fish Soup
– nice, savoury, garlick-y flavor. According to Google catfish is commonly used. They also add fried bits on a separate plate that you can add to the soup and noodle which. Like the tea salad also have a nice crunch.
Shan Noodles
– it has a nice light broth/ flavor
Burmese milk tea (hot)
– if you like milk tea in general this is pretty good! A little on the sweet side for my taste but ita definitely still a comforting drink.
Coconut Jelly desert
– they gave this to us for free! Very similar to Thai and Vietnamese versions.
I’ll honestly order all these dishes again and also want to try the rest of their menu!!
Service: you can definitely tell it’s authentic because they barely speak English but they are very very helpful and they excitedly tried to explain each dish and how to eat it when we told them it’s our first time.

Drove nearly 30 minutes in heavy traffic to get here. Totally worth it! The place is nice and clean with a very family restaurant feeling. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful with menu suggestions. The food is so good too! I highly recommend the tea leaf salad to start with. Really wish I had ordered more

We had a fantastic experience here, as well as delicious food. I love love their house made Burmese style tofu. But honestly everything we had was great! tea leaf salad, garlic noodle, soft tofu noodles, vermicelli, samusa, and coconut gel desert; top notch. The owners were so lovely and made my birthday celebration feel so special. And their recommendations & catering to our strict vegetarian options were really thoughtful. Thank you!

The food was delicious and fresh without being overly heavy, sugary, or pretentious. The ambience here made me nostalgic for my home. The owner was also very welcoming. The Burmese tea was also so tasty. Would love to visit again if given the chance.
