The food wasn’t bad, it wasn’t great. Food presentation was very nice. With that being said, my small pieces of tri tip steak were VERY done and chewy, my eggs were undercooked inside. The only thing I really loved was the red pepper grits. Oh and the mocha was also really good! Service was ok, atmosphere is modern and very clean. It’s a smaller, oddly shaped space so you are seated pretty close to your neighbors. Not sure if we’ll go back, maybe try again in the future but it was pricey for what it was. I’ve attached some photos of what we ordered. Happy dining!

This was my first time trying The Yolked Kitchen, and it was pretty good. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant and fresh. The food was flavorful and enjoyable. My only complaint and this was my fault for not reading the menu carefully was that the chilaquiles didn’t come with meat like I’m used to, but there was nothing wrong with them. The cappuccino and the Yolked house coffee were also very good. If you’re looking for a breakfast spot, I’d definitely recommend this place. Just try to go a little early because it does get packed.

Yes, it is worth the hype. It’s on the pricey side and everyone who comes here seems to dress up. I didn’t know this and rolled in wearing a beanie and a puffer vest which didn’t offend anyone or break any dress code rules (there aren’t any), I just felt underdressed. Expect to spend around $70.00 (on the low end) for two meals and two coffees including tip. To be clear, our meal was $63 and I tipped 12 to make it $75 even. If you’re ordering other drinks I’m sure you could expect upward of $90. I got the “Shes Crafty” and drank a vanilla cortado. My friend ordered the Christmas burrito and drank a white mocha. I loved the “Shes Crafty” and would consider it the perfect brunch choice if you can’t pick between something sweet and something savory. The bread gives the impression of like a Hawaiian sweet roll and the ham compliments that, with the cheese and the egg yolk coming in with the creamy savory dream you didn’t know you had. The Christmas burrito didn’t wow my friend how my meal did, but it very much belongs on the menu and deserves the clout. The cortado I drank was my favorite I’ve had in Fresno. This spot is definitely worth a visit, but I wouldn’t make it my weekly Sunday spot. It’s definitely best for special occasions or for when you want to show someone visiting Fresno that Fresno actually does have some very decent food options. Will come again!

I recently visited this venue for brunch and I was happy I did. The food was great and the service was very friendly. We ordered a few different dishes and they were all delicious. The patio has heaters, is dog friendly, and is also right off the pedestrian path so it’s a great space to post up at. I’d recommend checking them out if you want a solid breakfast or lunch.

My husband and I came to Yolked Kitchen for the first time yesterday. We were honestly so shocked that we hadn’t eaten here sooner. The food was incredible. Our favorite breakfast restaurant is Cafe Nouvaeu in Ventura, however Yolked Kitchen is like our new “Cafe Nouvaeu” in Fresno!

Always a great experience. I love our bartender, even though I can’t remember his name right now. Oops. We usually sit at the bar to eat. The food is yummy and the drinks are delicious. I don’t like pancakes but I will definitely eat them pancakes here. Love the vibe, it has a nice patio that looks out to the walking trail. The parking isn’t always the best but it doesn’t matter because it’s so good.

As a treat for my good friend we decided to try this restaurant for her birthday. It had been on our list to try for a while. I was quickly seated and ordered an espresso martini. I’m really impressed on how good that morning espresso Martini was as it wasn’t overly sweet but it carried a very strong coffee flavor. I ordered the smoked salmon which was held high on Fresh sourdough bread. The salmon was delicious with the pickled onions and capers. I also added a side of potatoes which came out nice and crispy. My friend ordered the traditional breakfast that did not disappoint. Overall I definitely want to come back and try a few more items on the menu I highly recommend this breakfast spot.

Only my 2nd time here however, I’ve fully enjoyed each meal and every drink! The service is quick and attentive. I apologize for not taking a more flattering picture of the tri-tip and eggs and to drink I had another great espresso martini and this “it’s 5 o’clock somewhere” (old fashion).

Environment is wonderful. Service is great. Coffee is good. Prices are too high. Netflix-Chili-A-Quiles is absolutely horrible. It’s literally a pile of soggy breakfast nachos. I regret not saying something when I handed the waiter my almost not touched plate. The salmon dish is fabulous. My friends seemed to enjoy the French toast, but it’s definitely deep fried, so not for everyone, but a great choice for the right person. 2 people ordered the fried rice egg dish and they loved it. Overall, it’s a good place. I’m just upset that I paid a high price for something I couldn’t get myself to eat. No one else at our table of 7 would even give it a bite. Just order carefully. Great staff though.
