It’s hard to find a restaurant that has it all! The people are SO nice and friendly here. It really feels like a small town diner when you come here. The decor is all chickens and roosters. And the food is great, too. A true diner’s delight. Didn’t know I needed this place as much as I did! Will be back for sure! If I had to knock a point, it’d be for the booths. The seating is getting old and you sink right in. But please don’t get cafe seating. Lol. We love the booths!

We’ve gone to yolk n toast a few times and the service is always amazing, all of the ladies running the FOH are super friendly and helpful. We’ve tried a new menu item every time we go (their menu is quite extensive) and it’s not always a hit but we just try something new the next time. This time we decided to try their Mediterranean bowl and the south of the boarder skillet with a side of biscuits and gravy! We also ordered the mozzarella sticks and both had waters to drink; with all of our items combined the total (not including tip) was $47 and some change.
The decor in there is also noteworthy with many roosters on everything. It’s a small dining area so sometimes there is a wait but it it’s worth it!

I’ve lived local to this place for almost a decade and have passed it a million times, but finally decided to step out of my comfort zone — and I’m so glad I did! When money’s a luxury, you tend to stick with places you already know are good, but this spot completely exceeded my expectations. I ordered the south of the border skillet. The food is phenomenal — quality ingredients, cooked perfectly every time, and absolutely delicious. The staff goes above and beyond with their customer service, & the owners take pride in their business, which really makes a difference. They’ve definitely earned a solid spot in my top 5 for breakfast places. Highly recommend!

A taste for a good and filling egg breakfast is what led me to this Yolk & Toast. What a cool spot. It’s a Family Diner that’s quaint, offering a full menu, including breakfast anytime, accompanied by a colorful Rooster theme throughout, and wonderful service! Ordered a veggie omelette, with substitutions, and bagel breakfast sandwich to go. Didn’t wait more than ten minutes and I was back on the road. Breakfast was good. I’d return.

Awesome food! Excellent service. I had a meat lovers skillet without the green peppers- It was a suggestion from our server. I cannot wait to go back- I will try to remember to take a picture next time. Best Breakfast I have ever had so fresh and very generous amount of food for a good price. The sourdough toast was delicious The atmosphere is so cozy & they treat you like family- A definite gem. Huge Thank you to all the cooks and staff

My daughter and I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday. I ordered the pecan waffles with a side of sausage patties and a fresh fruit cup. The waffles and sausage were cooked to perfection. Fruit was fresh and tasty. My daughter ordered bacon waffles with chicken tenders. Also delicious. Our waitress, Valentina was very personable and efficient. All of the staff was very friendly. Constant refills on the coffee without asking was another plus. There’s a lot of choices for breakfast and lunch. My daughter and I will be coming back. We have found our new spot for both breakfast and lunch. Kudos to them for doing such a good job.

I can’t say enough good things about The Yolk & Toast. The food is fantastic—always quick, delicious, and the portions are generous. The prices are fair for what you get, and the atmosphere is great. Vail, Rita, and Anna are all amazing. I have to admit, I might like one of them just a little more than the others, but I won’t say which one! They really make it a place worth visiting.

I am obligated to give 1 star because I find a hair in my food almost everytime I go here. No exaggeration its happened about 5 times. That being said. I still decide to go here because the food is that good.

Food and service were great. Menu has a really great variety of items. It was hard to choose what to eat seeing all the food come out, we wanted to try everything. Loaded Tot Skillett was great. Good fried mozzerrella sticks. We will be back to try more!
