Do not listen to the bad reviews!!! Food was amazing, service was kind and our waitress was attentive and helpful. This place is a gem, I definitely recommend trying. Got specialty sushi rolls as a group and everything was delicious!

R1: Crazy shrimp roll 7.5/10
– Good mix of flavors
– the popcorn shrimp was cold when its a deep fried shrimp, a little soggy as well. Could be 10x better if this was at least refried or fried fresh.
– Do watch out for shrimp tails at the end of the rolls, I personally like them but some people dont
R3: Great White Shark Roll 9/10
– We ordered this twice, awesome mix of flavors
– Garlic is freshly roasted and hot. Strong flavor
– The Jalapeno gave a nice texture and flavor to the roll
– A bite or two isnt too spicy but the spice does add up the more you eat
– Overall highly recommended
R19: Volcano Roll 5/10
– Lots of scallops on top of the roll but it just kinda rolled everywhere and its flavor didnt really blend with the roll itself. Scallops itself were good and the roll itself were good, we just didnt enjoy eating both in one bite.
– Too much sauce, it made the roll soupy to where it would fall apart when you pick it up
– Might need to change the plating of this dish because it does have potential. But flavors all together were unpleasant
R21: Albacore Roll 7/10
– Simple and decent roll
– Spice level is about a 3/5
We ordered 5 rolls total with 3 cokes and a tea, the total was $98 so i say it was pretty decent for the prices.
We do plan to come back and taste more stuff.
We came around 4pm so the store was a little empty and maybe thats why the atmosphere was a little off.

We sat at the bar and had a couple of rolls salad and edamame. Great experience. Jun and his staff were very attentive and conversational! I am with the group that says ignore the bad reviews! I am coming back!

6/30/24 first time here. We walked over from the courtyard (other side of the RR tracks). Upon approaching we heard loud Latin music and were surprised to find a live band at this restaurant. They sounded good but very loud for the space.
So loud we had to order by typing the list of stuff on the phone and showing it to the sushi chef. Lol… But it worked and the food was really good! I’d certainly eat here again, if I’m ever in Oxnard again.
Nice and friendly staff too. Place was clean as well.

Prices have gone up and quality has gone down. I ordered the crazy shrimp roll which is supposed to have shrimp tempura inside and popcorn shrimp on top. Most of the “popcorn shrimp” is all tempura batter, and some filler strands of imitation crab. Same thing with inside the roll- it looks like at least one of the pieces is just tempura batter… I called the restaurant after getting home and noticing this, but the owner wasn’t willing to own up to the issue of not providing with he charged for. I would have taken a small discount because I’m not driving the food back at this point. I really wanted a crazy shrimp roll not a crazy filler roll. See photos for the “popcorn shrimp”

Delicious, varied and large sushi menu. They do a horrible job advertising themselves. So it’s a bit of a hidden gem. Jun Park , the owner and head sushi chef is extremely nice and helpful as well. We love going here whether it’s on date night or with the kids.

I love the Joey Vegas roll. They’re not lying about it being hot, it’s FIRE with their habanero sauce- watch out!! But go for it, flavor is on point, good size, tight rolls. Another favorite is their Baby Lobster roll too. Dragon is good, I love eel on top!!
So glad they’re open during these times, they’ve been a life saver! I cook at home, but I go out whenever I get tired of my own cooking or want a break from the kitchen- this is always a yummy treat.
