Best sushi and Japanese cuisine in Palmetto Bay! The owners (customer service) are extremely professional, kind and get to know you as you become a regular! They are very serious about the quality of their food and customer satisfaction. They are incredible people who run the best sushi restaurant in the area!! The best for pick up and now that they expanded the dining area, it is good for eat-in as well! If you want clean, fresh, amazing sushi and Japanese food, you MUST try Yoko’s Japanese and Sushi restaurant in Palmetto Bay for the best culinary experience and great customer service!! I suggest the lunch or dinner box where you get to choose four things from the menu on one plate! Fairly priced, especially for the high quality and freshness of the food!! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!!

It was so great! Super quaint, well priced, and delicious. My partner in crime and I split two rolls, ordered their Sake, and tried the Thai Donuts and it was all satisfying, fresh, and definitely left a great first impression. Everyone was so friendly – we’re definitely going again and I’m so happy to have found a yummy sushi place in my area that is isn’t too commercial but instead local, fair, and most importantly delicious!!!

The freshest most delicious sushi around. Recently remodeled inside..although not a fancy place at all..but trust me on the sushi.. it’s excellent. Take note that you might have a little bit of a wait if it’s busy. The owner is the only one making the sushi..but it’s worth the wait. You can always call ahead to order. Enjoy the origami art on display.

I found this place on a ‘support a local small business’ day. I decided to go local for my sushi lunch during my break. Wow, was I impressed with the flavor! The store itself is small and there’s not a lot of tables to eat at, but it’s so delicious that I don’t care. And no one I’ve ever taken has cared, because the sushi is so delicious. The price is fair and the customer service is far above exceptional. You can tell they’ve been making sushi for a long time and I just love all of it. My favorite roll is the captain crunch roll. My friend and I went to both this restaurant and shibui in one day, to see which one was better, and this place was leagues above in quality of flavor and customer service. I never again want to eat at a big restaurant chain for sushi. Sushi maki and sushi sake just don’t satisfy me anymore. It’s all about that Yoko’s Japanese sushi 🙂

Wife just brought me some take out this evening and wound up throwing it the trash. Definitely worst sushi I’ve seen in my life. I’m an avid fisherman and sushi connoisseur and know what Fresh fish smells and taste like. This garbage they served was more like bait. Never been so disappointed with a restaurant ever. They should be embarrassed.

Hands down, the best sushi in the Palmetto bay area. The owner and his wife are the most polite and hospitable people I’ve met on this side of town thus far. The sushi is made to order and he makes it right in front of you. Awesome people, awesome experience!
