This place was clean, and the service was both prompt and thoughtful. I ordered the Chirashi—each piece was fresh and satisfying. When my daughter asked for gluten-free soy sauce, they happily accommodated her request and even prepared the Aged tofu using potato starch instead of flour. We’re already looking forward to returning for more delicious indulgences.

Ordered a sushi and sashimi platter for takeout from Yoko Sushi — it was fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. You can tell the staff takes real pride in the quality and freshness of the food, which I really appreciate, especially when it comes to raw fish. At other places, I sometimes find myself second-guessing the freshness even as I eat, but not here. I feel completely confident in what I’m getting. The staff are also nice and friendly, which adds to the great experience. The price feels reasonable for a quality sushi place. You’re paying for quality, and here, it’s absolutely worth it.

This place is a hidden gem. I had the closest sushi quality to Japan. The ratio of fish to rice in the sushi is probably 2:1 which is very rare in this area. Delicious and fresh.

I’ve had nothing but GREAT experiences at this restaurant! The sushi and sashimi are SO fresh and well executed. My friend loves the Bento box at lunchtime. They offer you a small complimentary miso soup or salad with yummy ginger dressing with your order. Most recently my husband and I devoured the Yokoholic and the Hot Attack Roll. Very clean restaurant and service is on point. Highly recommend!

After reading positive reviews on Google, we decided to try out this Japanese restaurant in Oakton. We opted for the Sushi & Sashimi Set for Two, which included eight pieces of sushi, ten pieces of sashimi, a California roll, and a shrimp tempura roll. We were both impressed with the food quality; the sashimi was incredibly fresh and melted in our mouths, while the sushi rice was perfectly seasoned and of excellent quality. The portion size was generous, and the set also came with complimentary salad and miso soup, which were both fresh and flavorful. For our appetizer, we had Agedash Tofu, which was perfectly cooked and had an outstanding balance of flavor. Our server provided excellent service, and the restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, with a minimal design and warm wood-toned furniture that created an authentic Japanese atmosphere. We plan to return to try more dishes in the future.

Overall, a decent local location for sushi/Japanese food. Food quality is not exceptional but it is far from bad. It is just good enough. The Ramen was okay but the sushi was pretty decent. The prices are on the higher side when compared to other restaurants in the DMV area. Surface was great in the restaurant looked clean and welcoming.

UNBELIEVABLE FIND! Absolutely the best sushi! Fresh and delicious! The salmon melted in my mouth! The teriyaki plates were amazing. The staff is so nice and sweet. My wife and I had an incredible experience. We travel an hour each way just to eat here!

Yoko has a new owner but I can’t compare it with the previous owner’s as this is my first visit to Yoko. The restaurant was clean and servers were nice. There were not many customers yet.
The food was great. I ordered sushi and sashimi platter. It was fresh and lots of potions. And house salad with ginger sauce and avocado salad were excellent, too. Definitely coming back more often.

We just had our end-of-year meeting with eight people at Yoko Sushi in Oakton. We ordered three big plates of sushi and sashimi that were more than enough for all of us, and the price was really good, especially when you think about what other sushi places charge. The people who work there were super nice and friendly. I’ve found my new favorite sushi spot!
