I frequent this restaurant on a regular basis and a steady customer for 16 years. By far, this is the best Japanese restaurant overall. Fresh, delicious sushi, not to mention excellent presentation. My favorite is the Chirashi, Sushi combo, and if I have a big appetite, I order Sushi and Sashimi combination… simply the best!!! Staff are friendly, welcoming, attentive. Clean environment. If you are looking for a good Japanese restaurant, this is the place. Highly recommended!

Yoko has a new owner but I can’t compare it with the previous owner’s as this is my first visit to Yoko. The restaurant was clean and servers were nice. There were not many customers yet.

Incredibly delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, attentive servers. I can’t get over how delicious the salmon roll was. The salmon was actually tender, which has almost never been my experience with cheap, chewy, salmon sushi.

I was really scared going to this place after reading the reviews even though my friends love the sushi here. They loved it today too, as did my husband. My avocado salad (not pictured) with ginger sauce was nice with plenty of avocado. Service was quick as we were the only/first ones during lunch time. I really don’t have any complaints. I guess my yakisoba was just a tad bit too oily but still flavorful. I think I would prefer too oily over too dry. The staff were attentive.

The restaurant messed up my order, but they graciously replaced it with the correct dish (salmon salads), at no extra cosr. The service was impeccable. The food is truly outstanding. I’m so lucky to live a block away from this place!
