Excellent food bursting with delicious flavors. Everything was prepared fresh and clean, with clear attention to quality. The Lunch Specials were a standout—generous portions, beautifully presented, and absolutely satisfying. L- PORK BELLY TONKOTSU made with thin noodle, tonkotsu pork broth, 2 pcs pork chashu, bok choy, corn, bean sprout, black garlic oil, seaweed, scallion and L- CHICKEN SHOYU with wavy noodle, shoyu-based chicken broth, 2 pcs chicken chashu, bok choy, corn, bean sprout, scallion oil, seaweed, scallion A perfect midday treat that left us smiling! A shout-out to the staff Ms. Lucy who is always so polite and friendly. Thank you.
Service was fine, they didn’t welcome us right away but I did notice they did for most everyone else. Not a problem. slightly slow service but they were busy.
The ramen was meh. The broth was fine but tasted a bit like msg. Felt heavy from it. The beef was still a bit red so not dry and fair portion of it. The noodles had a slight chew but nothing amazing. No toppings except 1 soggy piece of bok choy but maybe that’s because it was the lunch special?
The edemame was very normal no seasoning except a tiny bit of salt. Not much to say.
The fries were disappointing. Cooked well but the fries themself had no seasoning. The sauces on top were not pleasant and the corn all fell to the bottom so somewhat useless for the dish.
Same with the wings. Some of the best cooked wings I’ve had in a while. Juicy and crunchy but the sauce was overwhelming and not balanced. We didn’t eat more than a couple and didn’t want to take them home.
Overall it was okay priced about 40$ without tip but it’s not good enough that we would return. We felt bloated after and we didn’t even eat much. It really was seasoning issues as the cook on things was good.
Food was even better! We got the steak yakisoba and the chicken curry (big portions!). My new favorite Japanese restaurant.
