Booked via the folk and got 30% off. Cozy environment and friendly staff. Authentic Japanese restaurant, food is tasty and I love the Draft Beet is a must order! Izakaya is normally slightly more expensive than normal restaurant because they allow you the sit and chat. With this in mind, I think their price is acceptable (with 30% off). Enjoyed our dinner 🙂

A gem of a place with fun vibes and authentic Japanese Izakaya foods. The sushi and fried foods are both top notch. We had okonomiyaki, sushi, tempura, karage, sesame creme brûlée, grill salmon kama. Everything was delicious – better if not same as in Japan. I booked through Fork and got 30% off the foods (not the drinks). Very good value.

Incredible food, service, and vibe. The highlights of the meal were the salmon nigiri (so fresh) and the chicken kaarage, and the black sesame creme brulee should not be skipped!!!! Staff was so so sweet and welcoming. Really delicious authentic izakaya, and if you reserve through the fork app you get 30% off your food! Highly recommend coming for a casual dinner.

We’ve been exploring Europe for almost two weeks and, craving some comfort food, decided to check out Yoizaru. Our first visit was for dinner, and we were instantly blown away by the hospitality. Chef Senno-san and the staff were incredibly kind. Yoizaru is one of the best izakaya-style restaurants we’ve ever been to. The food is delicious and pairs perfectly with drinks. The flavours are authentic and well-balanced, with a great umami taste. We had a wonderful time chatting with the chef during our 2-hour dinner. We kept eating and ordering without even realizing it was already closing. The next day, we went back for lunch, and the food was just as good. We had the saikyo miso teishoku & katsu don, and it was absolutely delicious!

We visited YoiZaru last Saturday night and loved everything we ate. The sushi chef personally recommended some amazing sashimi for us to start, and they were outstanding. The décor felt truly authentic – the moment we walked in, it felt like we were in a real Japanese Izakaya. We even learned that the décor was built by Japanese constructors using authentic Japanese tools. The service was both attentive and warm, making us feel completely at ease. There are so many plates I didn’t get to try and still have on my mind, so I’ll definitely be back soon. YoiZaru has definitely become one of my favorite spots in Lisbon.

I almost can’t believe how lovely our experience at YoiZaru was. The food was hands down the best japanese food I’ve had outside of Japan. The diversity of the menu really showcased some of the dishes that are often overlooked at many other japanese restaurants with the expected offerings and the produce was incredibly fresh (my yellowtail was to die for).
The atmosphere was intimate and well thought out and the staff was attentive, kind and knowledgeable. I also have to commend the large selection of sake and shochu.
Do yourself a favour and give the place a visit!

I absolutely recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Japanese food!
All dishes are crafted by Executive Chef Senno-san from Japan, who has over 20 years of experience. The beautiful presentation of the food will catch your eye first, and the flavors are equally impressive!
During our trip to Lisbon, we decided to return for lunch to try their lunch dishes as well.
It was absolutely worth it, and the service is incredibly friendly, professional, and gentle—just like you’d experience in Japan.

This is hands down one of the best Japanese restaurants in Lisbon. The quality of the food is outstanding. The sashimi was incredibly fresh and just melted in your mouth. We tried the lunch specials and were not disappointed. We also shared the fried chicken and eggplant dishes, and both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and everything was beautifully presented. Highly recommend making a reservation through The Fork app. Not only is it super easy, but you’ll also get a nice discount. Will definitely be coming back!

Wow! What a delicious dinner! The quality of the fish is incredible, the attention to detail — immaculate, and the flavors will keep you ordering. Highly recommend the miso salmon AND eggplant. Also the una eel roll was so good. Everything was perfect. Reasonably priced for the quality!

Food was good, but not extraordinary.
My opinion this restaurant is too expensive for what they offer.
27 euros for 9 sushi
And 10 euros for one small glass of Sake.
Not worth this price. Design of this restaurant also not match the price they asked for their dishes.
There are more interesting restaurants in Lisbon with Japanese food.
