Absolutely delicious every time!
I’ve eaten here several times, and each time I order the large teriyaki chicken bowl with a large drink $14.72 and it never disappoints. The flavor and portion size are incredible, especially the generous amount of chicken you get in the large bowl.

The restaurant is spotlessly clean, the temperature inside is cool and comfortable, and the customer service is outstanding everyone is genuinely friendly and welcoming.

It’s tough competition being in the same parking lot as Chick-fil-A and Chipotle, but Yogi’s Grill truly deserves more attention. If you’re willing to skip the big-name chains and try something new, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend!

Yogi’s Grill is absolutely amazing! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Their teriyaki chicken bowl is my go-to—packed with juicy chicken, fresh veggies, and just the right amount of sauce. The sushi rolls are also fantastic, super fresh and beautifully presented.

The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the service is quick even during busy times. The restaurant is clean, and the atmosphere is comfortable whether you’re dining in or taking out. If you’re looking for delicious Japanese food, Yogi’s Grill never disappoints. Highly recommend!

I’m not sure where they learn to make chicken katsu i’tasted chicken coz in a lot of places.First it’s not traditional it has a sauce on it which is horrible. It seems to be overcooked not that gonot that golden brown katsu , you would get anywhere else. I also got a california Roll and it was very warm. At this time, I won’t right off the store. They will closing, maybe in a rush but I did not enjoy my first experience and it’s very hard to eat this food.

I ordered a Lunch special extra large beef teriyaki bowl, an order of udon noodles with chicken, shrimp, tempura and a miso soup. The teriyaki bowls mid temp ….. The udon noodles had no flavor, This shrimp tempura was A little below room temperature the only thing that was pretty good was the miso soup. Unfortunately they put my order to go when I let them know that it was for here and that made me wait for a bowl of udon noodles to be cooked and all the rest of my food got cold. They called five people ahead of meon top of that. The soda dispenser had no ice. All the sodas were flat. I had to get Ice from the place next-door to drink an Arnold Palmer. on top of that. The soda dispenser had no ice. All the sodas were flat I had to get ice from the place next-door to drink an Arnold Palmer. I spent 46 bucks. I was very disappointed.

Sitting outside to write this review as I said I would. Refused me service at 8:55. I said I’ve called in the past and you refuse me to go orders after 845pm so that’s why I drove there and got there before 9pm. They said oh well we close at 855pm. Then change your hours to reflect that on your door and online. I never want to be that person which is why I always call ahead but they always refuse.

This western hot spot is pretty good for a variety of quick, casual asian-themed foods! I loved that there’s a variety of options in one location, and the place was neat and clean. Read the menu carefully and ask questions if unsure, because I totally misunderstood when I ordered something based on the picture, and not the description. Still, the staff was very friendly and helped me get the perfect side. I’m normally not one to waste food, but I did today, because it comes with so much rice.

So here’s the breakdown.
Chicken Katsu Bowl: Comes with panko breaded, deep-fried teriyaki chicken and lots of rice (if you order it just like that)
You can order half rice/half veggies for just $1 more. I give this a solid 4 because the chicken was fried too long. Although it was still flavorful, the semi-charred panko tainted the flavor a bit and the chicken was as juicy as I prefer. Still the teriyaki sauce was delicious, and the rice was cooked perfectly.

The Steamed Veggies:
Oh my! They steam them to perfection. It was tenderness with a slight crunch, and I could taste each wonderful vegetable on it’s own cause it was juicy it greasy. However, there was no salt or pepper or anything, I know this works for some people, but a little salt, spice, or acidic zest can’t hurt anything in my opinion Another 4!

The Service and Atmosphere: A solid 5! Chelsie’s smile and light, friendly demeanor was delightful. I loved that you see everybody, because it gives the opportunity to thank the actual cooks for the food. Chelsie had solid menu recommendations, and knew what the area favorites were. Her input was very helpful to me as a first-timer! She was very polite, but not overly friendly, and it’s always so refreshing to just see people in there natural element rather than forcing a smile.

The front area was very clean and even smelled nice, not just like food. Nice open floor, and great positioned windows for most of the day because the sun wasn’t just straight through. Even so, it was cool and comfortable inside as well.

BONUS! This location is close to a few shopping stores, a bowling alley, and about half a mile from a light rail stop (Montebello & 19th Ave) so take yourself out and grab a bite!

First time trying a Yogi’s Grill and was not particularly impressed with anything. The miso soup was too salty (and I like salt), the noodles were greasy. The one thing I really liked a lot was the plant based meat option that they use. My partner ordered a big platter with meat and rice and sushi pieces and macaroni and cheese (weird, but ‘Merca), and he didn’t like any of it.
