The staff’s friendly demeanor was overshadowed by their preoccupation with conversation amongst themselves, and limited English proficiency, with only two out of five staff members able to communicate effectively in English. Unfortunately, the food fell short of expectations. My chicken teriyaki order was notably disappointing, featuring overcooked chicken and insufficient teriyaki sauce, although extra sauce packets and a generous serving of rice were provided. Interestingly, I observed that customers who spoke Spanish were automatically offered the larger size without being presented with options or inquiries about their drink preferences. As a fluent Spanish speaker from Spain, I found this notable. Given the subpar experience, I will seek alternative options for teriyaki elsewhere. Additionally, the lobby area was noisy due to unattended children and a lack of intervention from either parents or staff.

I was in Chandler training for my job. I was headed home to Tucson when my wife asked me if I can bring something we don’t have here in town. I searched Teriyaki chicken and this place popped out, plus is was on my way home. I ordered the combo chicken and beef. Good price and big portion at a good price. Friendly staff and big side portion like teriyaki sauce, ginger, sesame seeds, and what ever you asked for no questions asked and no extra upgrade charges. I drove home smelling the delicious food and couldn’t wait to eat. Me and my wife couldn’t believe how delicious the food was. I truly recommend this Yogi’s grill. The chicken and the beef cooked to perfection. Thank you!!!!

Great food with big portions!
I ordered the Regular Chicken Teriyaki Bowl with a medium soft drink. My order was taken in a friendly manner. This location is $1 more than the other Yogis in the Valley. The restaurant wasn’t too busy for Dinner. The order did take longer than other locations I have visited. There was a noticeable wait for every order that came out. This location needs some Training on efficiency in the kitchen area. There were 2 people in front, which 1 person could’ve handled the orders. Having 1 person cross trained to help in the Kitchen would greatly improve efficiency.
The food was hot, fresh, and tasty! The portion size was enough for 2 people. The iced tea also hit the spot.
The lobby area was clean and organized. The drink station was clean and well stocked.
I would still recommend this location to anyone who loves rice inspired dishes.

I was 10 minutes before closing and they refused service… Open sign was on at that time and now 5 minutes before is off…
The employee told me that they stop talking orders 15min before.

I hesitate cause food is good, multiple signs discouraging customers to NOT touch anything or use soda machine, I tipped and asked for more soy, “yeah it’s already in the bag “,
Then I have to turn around when nothing in the bag for sushi.
I wouldn’t submit this if this wasn’t the last straw,
Owners of both locations (included Gilbert rd) are horrible, act like they are doing you a favor. Never would u hear thank you!

For call in orders over 30$ they take your card info and didn’t inform me of that before i did my whole order. The employee taking my order was very rude and even trash talked about me to another employee over the phone while i could hear. The food is lower quality in comparison to the other yogis and they messed up my entire order, not sure if on purpose or they’re just bad.

Will not go back. Food is terrible across the board. Tempura may as well be the frozen stuff you get at Costco. It is nothing but too thick breading and no taste. Chicken Katsu grainy, dry, and tasteless. Rice is thick, heavy, and clumpy. They played rap, which is not what they should at a Japanese restaurant. Service was OK, though. Too bad they have such a bad product to serve.
