Located on the Dayton’s Bluff hillside just outside of Lowertown, The Yoerg Brewing Company is producing Minnesota’s finest Bavarian styled beers, just as they has since 1848. We are brewing the legendary Yoerg Beers on premise as well as serving some of the finest German and Belgian beers in the world (with over 250+ selections). We offer a superb wine by the glass program with 18 unique, artisan wines, all under $10.00 a glass. Added to that, a splendid food menu of old world treats; Bratwursts and sausages from the legendary Usinger’s in Milwaukee, a wonderful selection of pub pizzas, cheese and charcuterie plates, pickled eggs, Smoked seafoods, soft Bavarian pretzels and a warm, old school atmosphere.
Bavarian beer brewed on site, Trappist ales & global wines served in charming, old-timey surrounds.

What an awesome place!! The upstairs is such a cozy vibe with the comfy chairs and fireplace (order at the bar but they’ll bring your food up to you), the beer list is extensive, the staff are friendly, and the sausages and soft pretzels were excellent! I’m already looking forward to going back next time I’m in St Paul. Parking on the neighborhood streets was plentiful.

This place is a hidden gem for beer! We went here for Belgium beer on tap, and I ended up trying a flight of their 4 house brewed beers. All of them were excellent, but even out of the other 4 Belgium options we sampled, my favorite is the Black Forest Lager. I bought a growler to take home!
We also tried the Yoerg Sandwich and a Vinschgauer Brötchen, and both were super good! The owner and/or manager stopped by and could not have been more kind and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back!

Just hosted a birthday party in the private event space and couldn’t be happier! Carole, Barry and the rest of the staff were so accommodating. Planning for the event couldn’t have been easier and they exceeded all our expectations. Our guests really enjoyed the beer, wine, food and vibe and many are planning a return trip. Thank you Yoerg Brewing for a great experience!

A True Hidden Gem in Saint Paul!
Yoerg Brewing Company is an absolute treasure. From the moment you step inside, you’re transported to an old-world saloon vibe that feels both nostalgic and unique. Their beer lineup is fantastic—especially knowing they brew the original Yoerg recipes on-site. The bratwursts from Usinger’s were delicious, and their wine selection is surprisingly diverse and affordable. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, making the whole experience even better. This place nails atmosphere, history, and quality. Can’t wait to come back!

If you support law enforcement don’t go here!
I have enjoyed this place in the past. My wife has never been here. We drove from Prescott, WI to have a dinner and drinks. When we got to the front door we realize we were not welcome. They had a large sign saying NO I.C.E. I’m not ICE but I support law enforcement.
They don’t want my money, I’ll go elsewhere.
We went to another brewpub and had a wonderful dining experience.

Not only is their menu and drink list extensive, their service is personable and prompt. They are knowledgeable about the huge list of beers they have available, and they will help you explore and discover new styles of beer. I only wish this brewery was closer to where I live so I could visit more often. My mother forgot her hat as we were leaving and our bartender ran out to the street to bring it to her so she didn’t lose it. You really can’t ask for a better interaction.

What an incredibly cozy, comfortable vibe at this neighborhood corner bar. The largest beer menu I’ve ever seen, with a serious wine list, plus mead and other beverages. The charcuterie board, sausages and pretzel we ordered were excellent, as was the service. Falling snow visible through the front door and windows added to the magic on this night.

Just unbelievable. Cool place, amazing food and an unmatched beer and wine selection. The video I’m posting is just a small sample of the beer, wine and food list. This is absolutely our favorite place in the Twin Cities area

A marvelous place that mixes living room ambiance with local bar service and European beer and wine —and Mead—lists. Go when you have time to read the thick book-like menu and enjoy the German sausages from Milwaukee. And take time to explore the historic photos and memories of a very old German brewery.
