A hidden gem!
Yod’s Thai Eatery absolutely hit the spot. I ordered the Panang curry and drunken noodles with tofu, and both were packed with flavor — rich, balanced, and cooked with real heart. The spice level was just right, and the tofu had that perfect texture that’s so hard to get right.
But the real soul of this place? The two lovely older ladies running the kitchen and counter. They were warm, welcoming, and you can feel the love they pour into every dish. It felt like I was being fed by aunties — so sweet, so genuine.
If you’re craving authentic Thai food and want to support a place with heart, don’t sleep on Yod’s. I’ll definitely be back!
Owned the two sisters who waited on us and cooked are definitely Thai!
The napkins at our table were dirty before we were even seated, silverware did not appear to be washed fully, my dish arrived ~20 minutes after my wife’s did (she had nearly finished by the time I started eating), and the food was simply not good. The coconut milk in my Tom Kha soup was separating/curdling, the Spring Rolls tasted like they came from the freezer, and my Pad Thai looked more like soup from how much sauce they put on it.
I wanted to like this place given it seems to be a family operation; and had the food been decent I wouldn’t post a negative review. But this place was flat-out bad across the board.
