I love the food, everything always good & always fresh..Everytime! My favorite is the fish hoagie.
I had alil confusion with my order but the gentleman jamal, who cook was very supportive and offer excellent customer. He reassured me that I can have what I wanted and how I wanted it. Delicious food welcoming atmosphere and lovely staff! had ribs (Smokey and sweet) chicken (crispy and tasty) Mac and cheese (savory and just bussin) yams (might as well be dessert) only regret didn’t try it!! I don’t normally do reviews but I had to for this place omg I trusted this place thinking the reviews weren’t that bad and I’m officially convinced the only good reviews must be family/friend based cuz ain’t noooo way the food was terrible the chicken was literally burnt it took minutes to even chew one piece I couldn’t even swallow it, Mac and cheese had a bunch of burnt spots and it was hard, candy yams were not fully cooked they were hard and chewy and I asked for any soda except a coke and they give me coke lol…

I love the quality of everything I’ve had! I haven’t had hotdogs in many years. The Texas Tommy sandwich sounded good. I wasn’t disappointed!! On a garlic roll put it over the top!

Selected this place because it was minority-owned by a black woman and not bad reviews. I had the whiting, mac and cheese, collard greens and sweet potato pie. I thought I would take something back to the hotel, but it was all so good that nothing was left. The extra touches were that I loved seeing the food when I made my selections, the restaurant was clean and the owner was very engaging. I highly recommend.

I wanted to try their food since I saw them on Fox 29. I was not pleased. The fish was the only thing I enjoyed. The mac had no cheese , the greens seemed canned, my yams although tasty were hard. I also had the peach cobbler which was cold, once warmed it was palatable. My cashier gave me the wrong amount of change which was cool, I wanted to eat. I envisioned better

The food was amazing. Had the Whiting baked macaroni, greens, and yams. When I say that macaroni was one of the best I ever had in my life. I’m definitely going back. The place was clean the owner was very pleasant. Prices very reasonable. This restaurant should be called “Food So Good You Wanna Slap Your Mama”

Chicken, vegetables, rice, all delicious. Don’t doubt the food quality one bit and try it out. So yummy. I wish they gave a bit more in portions for value. I know though inflation is hitting these small businesses hard so go support them! It’s owner run and she’s real nice.
