Reviews
The volcano spare ribs were good, with a tangy clear soup accompanying the fatty ribs. The charcoal chicken wings were well marinated and juicy, and the black pepper beef was stir fried in a delicious sauce. We also tried the sambal petai fried rice which was incredible and had a nice kick to it.
We did have to wait a while for a table as it is walk-in only, but they gave us tea in the line, and the food made it worth the wait.
Yuzu chilli crab: Delicious and you can share with 2-3 people. There are many brown crabs (crab roe). Really tasty.
Morning Glory: Fried Kangkong, recommend! Yummy!
Border Chicken Rice: just so-so…I suggest if the chef consider about adding some peanuts or other nuts in it. That will be much more better.
Oyster Omelette: just so-so, the oyster is fishy.
Thai green milk tea: the staff told us it is sweet. It’s ture. But not bad.
Service is really good. if you don’t finish all of these, you can take away.
One of the best restaurants in China Town, the staff is very welcoming and the service is perfect. The waiter Bobbie was very friendly, he was able to guide me on the choice of dishes. The home-made cuisine and the products are fresh and excellent. The price justifies the quality and in particular the very generous dishes. Thank you for this good time, I will come back with pleasure to taste the rest of the menu! 20/20
The atmosphere was warm and stylish without feeling pretentious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel really welcome from start to finish. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxed dinner with friends or a special night out.
Highly recommend Yiqi in London — I’ll definitely be coming back!
It’s very busy all the time, but honestly, the food is worth it. I had to wait in line for about 20 minutes. I normally don’t like waiting, but I’m really glad I did.
The staff were lovely and very professional, which made the experience even better.
