There are a few tables here, but most people I saw order for takeout. Once upon a time, during the pandemic in August 2020, my best friend and I ordered here. We really
liked the food. I went back in
December 2023 after her memorial service & the food is still yummy. If I remember correctly, I ordered the goat and rice dish both times. Huge
servings. I made at least 2 meals out of my 1 order.
Rest in Peace, dearest Ai (1981-2023).

Tonight I found this place on Google I saw a picture of the Jollof rice and fish. I decided to walk in to order best decision so good just enough spice plenty of flavor no need for salt. Very nice lady!!

Best jollof rice in the city! Very tasty and fresh. Tiny restaurant, you might have to call because they keep the door locked sometimes. But we are always greeted warmly when we stop in. Highly recommend

The food is very authentic and taste great but the packaging for the meats for the jollof rice the stew was wasted in the bag as well as the delivery drivers car so we did’nt have much left to pour over the rice.

This was my first time trying this place! When I called the lady was rude which is most expected at African restaurant sadly ♀️ when I got there the door was locked I had to call and I live 45 min away which I was in the area NP but the fact that I got home and seen it’s literally one small scoop really disappointed me would not recommend and it wasn’t the best I’ve had it was okay!

This restaurant constantly allows their customers to block the alley. They are not kind to their neighbors.

Visited this restaurant several months ago because I really wanted to try African food, especially fufu for the first time. Looked for the high rated African restaurants in Chicagoland and decided to give this one a try. I first drove there to take a look at the place, upon arrival looked closed and door was locked during “open business hours.” Then called number to be told by lady that I could order but would take 45 mins because they weren’t open…..again….weird “business hours.” So I waited out of excitement. Once time came, tried to enter but door was locked, was let inside and paid for food. Once I made it home the food had a rotten/old smell to it. Not fresh at all. The fufu def gave off the smell the worst along with the meat. Highly disappointing since I was so excited. Will never go back.
