In town for a job and needed something good to eat. Gave this place a chance and boy am I glad we did! Food was great. But oh my the portions were HUGE! My leftovers that I ended up with were as much as I get as a regular portion from other Chinese restaurants. Staff is also very friendly and attentive.

We have been coming to this place for years and have never had a bad experience until today. The food was delicious like always. However, the server automatically added a 15% tip without asking us, which was very disappointing.
My younger brother was celebrating his grades and wanted to treat the three of us. We normally leave a tip when the service is good, and even more when the service is outstanding. But in this case, there was no special interaction or level of service that justified an automatic gratuity.
Being forced to tip without being informed felt rude and took away from what was supposed to be a happy celebration. Unfortunately, this experience left a bad impression despite the good food.

Oh my gosh. I’m so glad I randomly decided to walk in here for lunch. The servings are enourmous, probably enough for 3 people. I only paid $12 for the almond chicken lunch special, and I had plenty to take home for later. Highly recommend trying this place out if you’re in the area.

I got the fried dumplings, it was more like steamed but it was still good, the sauce that came with it though I wasn’t such a big fan of it. My favorite was the chicken fried rice, definitely will order the rice again. Also got the orange chicken, wasn’t as spicy as I thought it would but it wasn’t sweet either, and veggie chow main which was also good. I would order from here again when in the mood for fried rice.

My husband and I were in the area and our first time in this restaurant. It was rated well in Google Maps, and they had lunch special. The restaurant was spacious and not busy. There were people picking up their orders. The server was nice and efficient. My husband and I ordered the lunch specials. Typically, lunch specials in Chinese restaurants include soup and/or egg rolls. The plate looks full but it was mostly fried rice. The food was mediocre and the Kung pao chicken was sweet and not spicy. It also has lots of onions and not a lot of meat.

Love the Mexican infusion into their Chinese food. I realize that the owners and most, if not all who work there, have probably immigrated into Chula Vista. With that said, I really enjoy the fusion of both food cultures. I am a big fan and will return over and over, time and time again.

First things first it’s AMAZING. The portions will have you in awe and the taste of the food will have you coming back for more. I looked at the reviews and I was like wow let me give it a try and then I ended up coming back 3 days in a row! If you’re looking for some delicious food you gotta come here I highly recommend it. The prices are great too. You’re getting a BANG for your buck!
