The lunch buffet is again available during the week, with frequently changing and interesting items appearing, like vegetable tempura, mussels, egg foo young, and sauteed green beans, etc, with a few Japanese side dishes. It’s still a hot table buffet, but very enjoyable with occasional surprises. The buffet price has gone up, but so has the variety and quality. Made-to-order lunch specials that include soup, an egg roll and choice of entree are also available: the triple harvest is really good. Still probably the best and most consistent Chinese food in town.

Food was excellent and service was wonderful. Try the general’s chicken.

The staff is very friendly, and courteous, the food was mediocre at best, we both had the #309 combo plate, she had peppered beef, in had sweet n sour pork. The food had ZERO FLAVOR, as though it was cooked without any seasoning, bland taste, veg drop soup had a sweet flavor to it which is unusual. The crab rangoon puffs tasted more like celery than crab so they were disappointing. The butterfly shrimp was about the only thing that tasted like it should.. I love Chinese cuisine and have eaten at many places in the last 63 years and can honestly say that I would not come back to yinyang in Santa Fe NM. There has to be better tasting Chinese food in New Mexico….

This place is not good. I don’t like giving bad reviews but we almost walked out of this place after getting food from the “buffet”. Most stations were empty. We went after the lunch rush so that is not the issue. What was there was not good with the exception of the sweet n sour chicken and the jalapeno bacon potatoes. The rrst of the food was not edible.

I enjoyed their buffet today. Small batches turned over quickly so they are always hot and fresh. Nice salad bar as well as soup. The service was very good as well.

1 star for spareribs, 0 star for other food (noodle, fried rice, sweet&sour pork etc) We arrived Santa Fe on the Thanksgiving day night and this place was the only option we could get something to eat. (Even fast food chain restaurants were all closed.) So we walked up to the restaurant, then we were told it’s 1h15m wait for take away or dining. We decided to order at the restaurant and came to pick up later. When my bf came to pick them up, the food was ready but staff didn’t pass it to us and our food had been sitting on the counter more than 15m. We understand and wouldn’t complain about that even it took 1.5h to get our food, but the food was surprisingly bad… It doesn’t have taste, basically they give you a lot of sauces and let you change the taste as you like.. I personally think it’s the same quality food as frozen food or airplane meal.. I’m sorry to wring this but it’s true. Santa Fe has many great restaurant options, no reason to eat here especially if you are a foodie.

Worst Chinese food ever!! Has no flavor, very greasy food was made with jalapenos no Oriental red pepper. I will never go back and won’t recommend it to anyone.

Edit: After looking for other options for 10 minutes and not finding any, we went back in to ask about takeout. They told us they were seating again, and gave us a table. The food is standard fare, tasty, but not outstanding. Crab Rangoon was very good though. I believe they added spinach to the filling, which added a nice flavor. The mapo tofu wasn’t spicy at all, but was good. We’ll go back, but will keep looking for our new favorite place.
