The portion size was great, the presentation was beautiful, and the customer service was amazing. The staff was welcoming and made the whole experience even better.
If you’re craving authentic Thai food, this is the spot. I will definitely be coming back for that Pad Thai again (and again ).
I do still stand by the statement that quality has gone down on certain dishes but don’t hesitate to try them out! This is just unfortunately a pattern I see in many restaurants due to changes in produce prices. Their pad thai is still the best I’ve had in NC.
Update: We got what we usually get but this time the padthai came out with VERY little meat (we had ordered shrimp), regardless the flavors are still good! For the Thom Khem they used a different cut of pork this time, it was drier and a lot leaner than pork belly, I would not reccomend this dish anymore.
The pictures for drinks are not very accurate, we ordered the naam keiw drink which looked like a milky green slush in the picture but when we got it, it was an aggressive hulk green. The drink was super sweet and a little melted so we asked if we could change in the drink but they declined so my bf bought another one (thai tea) … sorry to say but that one was also not so good and the boba tasted old in both drinks. Food is good here but the drinks have been a big miss so far.
I’m a little disappointed because I always suggest this place to friends and family, I feel like the food has changed overall and would not suggest them anymore. Sad to say It’s been like this the past few times we have gone here.
To end on a good note, I really liked that they added a complimentary hot water! That was nice 🙂 and they have these stools in the corner which are super cute. Thank you for the meals.

My new favorite place to go and eat. Everything was so delicious it had me emotional
Food in photos: Thom Khem and Pad Thai (Beef)
Update: still one of my favorite places to eat! Added more photos. Two dishes in the photos are the same as my review, the new dish is the drunken noodles.
It is not a “traditional ” restaurant in the sense that everything is more geared to take out. Disposable bowl and utensils, prepackaged add one, etc. But it’s really about the food and that hit the mark.
After eating, both dishes are a spice level of 3 or 4. Some of us can eat it and the others cannot because it’s not even level 2.
I called the restaurant with the intention to get my complaint heard, I did not want a refund or food to be remade. I spoke with the owner Cindy. She explained how they make it and that is fine but she kept saying that the food we are eating was mild. This was not mild. I always order 3 and this was at least that. Food was delicious but unfortunately the owner did not even acknowledge that the food could have been made spicier than normal or that they could have made a mistake. She was defensive and rude. When the owner asked me what I wanted because I am complaining, I only asked that if a customer requests a level 1 that they are informed that it does not guarantee that it will be that spice level for the family trays, she just kept saying that the food we were given was mild when we are the ones eating it, and it is not mild.
