It did not disappoint. The owners were so kind and welcoming, and the sushi was incredibly fresh. Honestly, I don’t think we had a single bad or even “mid” piece of sushi the entire meal. Everything tasted clean and fresh, and the sashimi pieces were thick and high quality. Such a great new spot—highly recommend! We’ll absolutely be coming back.

I ordered the pork & chicken fried dumplings, a large miso soup, and 2 sets of salmon nigiri sushi. And to say the flavour of the food was amazing is an understatement.
First you have a classic miso that has plenty of kombu and tofu which is just perfect, alongside the fried dumplings that are a great appetiser as they’re a little on the smaller side so you don’t feel that full for the later food.
Then we get to the star of the show which is of course the sushi, now I got Salmon because it’s my favourite fish, and nigiri is my favourite style, and oh my god, the salmon is so buttery and smooth I can’t believe I’m eating salmon of this quality for such a low price, if it was any more tender I wouldn’t even have to chew it, it’s so good that you just have to try it trust me.
5/5 stars, the interior was great and clean, and I liked the mini store section they had with other Asian food related items such as Shrimp Chips, and Instant Ramen. Once again you can’t disappoint yourself by eating at this place if you’re looking for some good Sushi!

As someone who has been ordering from the Bayonne location for years, the 5 star reviews are super accurate! Hands down this is the best sushi in the area. The sushi is always consistent with the perfect ratio of fish to rice. It’s always presented well and tastes soooo fresh. The owner is incredibly kind and hardworking – he always makes us feel welcomed. I’m so excited that they opened a location near me, and even more excited to see this business thrive because it’s well deserved!

Great selection of delicious sushi, made on the spot as you order. Very clean establishment, cute decor, great service, good seating. Also has a selection of Asian snacks, ramen, and ice cream to buy.
I had the avocado cucumber mango roll (7/10) and the mini shrimp tempura roll (10/10). Tasted amazing, very filling, and amazing value for money. Their family platters look delicious and affordable too.

Went here for the first time with my son and I am so glad we found this gem! When you step inside, you’re walking into a peaceful oasis filled with natural light, plants, and beautiful decor. You can dine in or take out. The sushi was so fresh and delicious! We also ordered fried dumplings and shrimp shumai. They have an awesome grocery section to the side where you can buy many Japanese snacks and ramen, as well as mochi. The service was fantastic and the owner is so kind. An absolute must go-to!!

Just wow – these folks are the warmest, sweetest people, and their food is just great! We went there to discuss ordering a part-platter while the kids were running around, and they were very patient and understanding and gave the kids some treats and sweet sushi to try.
Special shout-out to Jiania, who delivered our platter to a hard to reach location, and brought some treats for the kids remembering what they liked.
They have a very clear menu with photos, and a lot of sushi roll choices as well as yummy looking Japanese style meals.
The interior is really nicely decorated with lanterns and wood tables.
Highly recommended, and cannot wait to try their dishes.

Sushi is delicious and generouslyyy portioned. I ordered the Tiger Roll for lunch, and it was made on the spot with the freshest tuna and the freshest ingredients. For $10, this was incredibly filling and fresh. So satisfying, I had a smile on my face the entire time I had the roll; no joke. Each bite of sushi was that massive, packed with flavorful filets of fish.
They also have Japanese snacks and goodies on the side in the back, including mochi and aloe drinks, which I think is also incredible. (Not your average sushi place, IMO.)
10/10 for value, quality, and for the diversity of snacks and Japanese offerings they have.

I ordered the onion and beef udon and it wasn’t nearly as good as pictured on the menu. The broth was weirdly sweet and greasy and the shreds of beef were flavorless. There were also barely any noodles. Really unfortunate, since the lady that served me was really nice. On the plus side of things, the dumplings were pretty good and the little candy/snacks section they have was really cool.
