Best, most authentic Chinese food in Dauphin County. An absolute gem. We used to go to their location in Lancaster, it’s that good, before they opened this Harrisburg spot.

My friends and I stopped by for the lunar new year, and we were absolutely overjoyed. We each picked an appetizer and a main course + rice, and loved EVERYTHING. I’ve never gone to a place where we liked everything we ordered. In addition to the flavor, they were super fast! We got our food in less than 10 mins after ordering. To top it all off, we paid MUCH less than anticipated. I don’t know how they are doing it in those economy, but the pricing is very fair. I will definitely be coming back and am recommending this place to everyone I know. I hope business continues to thrive!

What a wonderful restaurant to have in Harrisburg! I have heard and seen only good things about their sister location on Lancaster, and this spot exceeded those expectations. I have now been here three times, including once with a large group of ten people.
Every time service has been quick, attentive, and friendly, and the food has been incredible!
From the Chinese American classics like general Tso’s, to the Sichuan specialities like maocai, everything was fresh and delicious.
Highly recommend going with a group of friends and sharing everything you order, and bringing some wine or beer to wash it down.

It was satisfying to at last try authentic Chinese food. We went twice in December and both visits were satisfying. My favorite entree so far is the Lamb with Onions and Chives. The tender lamb, and marvelous sauce serenades my taste buds every day, I want to go back for it each and every dinner time. Other dishes we enjoyed were the Honey Chicken, Shrimp LoMein and a Spicy Cicken Dry Pot served in a fire heated personal wok. The Braised beef I tried on my second visit was very tasty and flavorful, but far too fatty for me. I couldn’t find a satisfying amount of meat. I’m not sure if it is traditional to serve and eat the fatty parts in this way, so I will not reduce my stars. I ate one chunk of fat just to attempt being traditional if this was authentic . Not again. I will stick to the many amazing dishes on their menu. The portion sizes are large and sharable, and the seating is comfortable. Try it before the dinner rush to avoid the crowds. Research their menu ahead and you won’t be disappointed.

I ordered take out from here today & I have to jump on here to leave a review. The food was nothing short of amazing. I have been waiting for a non-americanised Chinese restaurant to open up in Harrisburg & this place is it. The food was delicious, seasoned well, the Dan Dan noodles had the perfect amount of spice, the dumplings weren’t too doughy & had lots of filling. This is a restaurant I’ll be going back to again and again.

If you are looking for non spicy dishes, the soup dumplings, beef and onion, and twice cooked pork were all excellent. If you can handle your heat, mabu tofu is great entry level heat, Dan Dan noodles is salty and spicy and a personal favorite. If you want to experience real Sichuan numbing spice, then the dry pot beef will meet your needs.
This may just be a new lunar new year tradition for us.

My family and I absolutely loved this place. Every dish we ordered was excellent. It was so good that we came back for lunch the very next day after having dinner there and we’ve already picked out what we want to try next time. Our favorite dish was the cumin fish. You truly can’t go wrong with any of their amazing dishes.

Can i just say…this place was so legit?!! The first time i visited Harrisburg a few months ago, I was disappointed by the lack of authentic chinese (NOT americanized chinese) food scene in Harrisburg. At that time, Yi Pin Hong has not started operation yet is my guess. We visited Harrisburg again last week and this restaurant came up in my search for chinese food, got so excited because there is finally authentic sichuanese restaurant in town. Well they surely did not disappoint. We were left impressed and elated about the fact that we won’t be deprived of authentic chinese food anymore whenever we visit Harrisburg in the future.
We got the mala pig ears, laziji, fish fragrant eggplants, and pork belly w/ preserved mustard greens, all REALLY delicious. Can’t wait to come back for more.
