If I could give this restaurant more stars, I would! I’m born and raised in Puerto Rico and this food was out of this world! Even better then some things you can find on the homeland!!! You’ll have to wait a while for them to make the food and it’s not the longest menu in the world, but what they have is literally the best! I got the Mofongo, Arroz con Gandules, and Pernil. My brother ordered the same but with Arroz Chino instead and it’s EXACTLY what you’ll find in PR. They even have Kola Champagne and Malta India. The Tres Leches was a little pricey, but it was SO GOOD! They play good PR music. The inside is brightly colored orange and you’ll get the full PR experience by needing a key to open the restroom, LOL.
If you’re home sick, or just want some really good, authentic food – this is the place!

Best puertorican food in Colorado Springs, very affordable! We had Papas Locas with roasted pork (pernil), white rice and beans, fried chicken and arroz con gandules.

Just visited the restaurant today with my wife and enjoyed Pernil Asado con Platanos Maduros y Arroz con Gandules! Drove down from Aurora, CO and had to try the food! Quite delicious! Being of Puerto Rican descent, I appreciated it greatly! Can’t wait to try the Pasteles when you have them!

Absolutely incredible. It was such a pleasure to have a taste of home. I come from New Jersey and my food was 50/50 based. Half Italian & half Puerto Rican. I left Jersey in 2006 with the Army and have since lived in Colorado, with short stints in Virginia and Arizona. Needless to say I haven’t had REAL Puerto Rican food since 2006 with the exception of Holiday visits back home. So, today was a real treat for me. The only reason for the 4 stars on the environment is they are clearly a new business that has yet to expand. I am sure with the food they have they will soon. It was so nice to see Army personnel enter and eat with a big ol smile. Had this place been there when I served I would surely have eaten there regularly. The whole place was amazing, food excellent, service excellent I will be back often no question about that. Thank you #yeyowill for a great day full of nostalgia. I felt myself sitting at my abuelas table all over again. I was so happy, honored, and proud to bring my son and wife in to taste the heavenly food I ate growing up.

Food is amazing here, Its in the way the pork chops were made, very similar to how my Grandpa made his. I am not Puerto Rican my family is Mexican but Instant memories came flooding back while I was eating the pork chop. That’s how you know the food is cooked with love and from Puerto Rican hearts of so many families. I grew up around some Puerto Rican families and this was just like eating at their homes as a kid. The arroz con gandules is the best I’ve ever tasted. So authentic like I was in Puerto Rico and eating a grandmothers food, absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend to anyone. Please keep serving this great food we appreciate you and your taste from Puerto Rico!

I was skeptical at first—so many places are good but miss the mark when it comes to truly authentic Puerto Rican ingredients and flavors. I grew up in Puerto Rico and still visit once a year to get my fix, so my bar is high. This place didn’t just meet expectations—it surpassed them. Now I may not even need to fly out of Colorado. We ordered the camarones criolla, pernil, and pincho de pollo plate, and of course had to try both desserts. Absolute perfection.

Everything was delicious! I tried a couple of “puertorican” places here & it was a disappointment, but this food truck was amazing! The wait on the food was longer than expected, BUT they are actually cooking the food to order. I got the mofongo con pinchos, chuleta y arroz con gandules, & maduros! I will be going back for sure! It felt like home so much, I had to call my mom, who’s still on the island, just to show her the food & tell her how good it was. 10/10!

Finding this place during my work trip has been THE BEST THING this week. I got the Mofongo con camarones al ajillo and a coconut flan. They were extremely delicious. The portion size was good for the price. It will be impossible not to feel full halfway through the mofongo.
Excellent service and food. You will not regret coming here for lunch.
