If I had stayed with just the amala, ewedu & gbegiri like I normally do, you deserve a 5 star bcuz of how amazing the food is. But I made the mistake of ordering the pepper soup also. Worst decision ever. I threw the whole pepper soup away because of how bad it smelled. It pained me to waste $20 but there’s no way I could eat that. I’m not sure if it spoiled, if the meat wasn’t properly clean but the smell was terrible. ♂️

The quality is very inconsistent. Sometimes it’s okay, but other times it honestly tastes like leftovers, dry, poorly prepared, and not fresh.
What makes it more frustrating is the price. Paying around $25 for Amala that isn’t consistently fresh or well-made just doesn’t feel right. At that price point, the food should be prepared with care every single time, not hit or miss.
