Found this little gem while I was wandering around on my vacation. It’s easy to miss but worth finding. I had the chicken fried chicken dinner and I couldn’t have asked for a better meal. From the mashed potatoes, to the fried chicken and the gravy in between. Every bight was delicious. This plate would be $12-$13 at any major chain restaurant, and you would be lucky if it was as flavorful. Bottom line, if you find yourself in the area you’d do yourself a favor by stopping in

The service was great. The atmosphere was nice – I like how they have wall divided booths for tables. I ordered the steak fajita salad and it was delicious. It was on iceburg lettuce and I would have liked an option for a spring mix. FYI – the wheelchair accessible entrance is in the back off the alley.

Food was delicious and definitely made from scratch! Fast service, clean, moderately busy. The only unpleasantness was the lady taking care of us. No greetings, no smile even when complimented about the food.

Food was pretty good. We where the only ones there and had to get the waitress to get a to go container and then go get the bill. It is cash only, but there is a bank across the street.

Food was great and the prices, although they didn’t line up with what was on the menu, were real reasonable, so could not complain. I believe I read somewhere on their Facebook, that they had to add a temporary surcharge to their prices due to costs fluctuating. So more than likely that is the cause for the difference. I do not believe they take credit cards, so come with cash or check. Would eat here again in the future. I also noted that they seem to have a great relationship with Meg’s Bar across the street. Awesome, seeing two restaurants in a small town work so well together.

Home cooked food. So it takes a bit longer. Cash only. Was very good and reasonably priced. Small dinning area.
