We stumbled upon this place because it’s the only charcoal grill kbbq in the area. We opted for the all you can eat option, and although there were only six items to choose from, it was more than enough for us. The prices were very reasonable, and the service was great, as was the quality of the meat. We’ll definitely be back!

This place stands out as they do charcoal. The charcoal adds a delicious caramelized charred flavor, which is fantastic with the marinated meats. My group loved the beef bulgogi the most. I’m usually on team pork belly, but I liked the pork ribs the best as the charcoal made the fat nice and crispy.
Banchan was pretty basic – potato salad, kimchi, cucumbers, hot peppers, bean sprouts, and 2 others. I’ve had better banchan/assortment but ate everything and all was tasty. I wish there was a sauce bar, but sauces they provided were good.

Service was good and attentive. They got a buzzer if you want their attention. They are quick to get more side dishes, drinks, grill change, and AYCE meat refills. AYCE is the best value for sure, especially as a group.

The place is kind of dark, inside and out (a bit tricky to find at night) But was comfy for group conversation. I would come here again, the charcoal really elevates the experience.

Wife and I went for the AYCE (all you can eat) experience. It was very delightful. Waited on by young man named Kim who was absolutely wonderful. Sunday early evening and place was pretty slow. The charcoal grill was great. The food was very good and plentiful. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to experience Korean BBQ and have a fun time. This restaurant deserves at least a 4.7 star rating overall. Super clean and superb service. Excellent job everyone especially Kim. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening.

Nut allergy friendly: The staff here were very courteous in checking for me and making sure there were no nuts in what we ordered or the banchan.

We arrived here at 2:30PM on a Sunday and it was quite empty – we might have been the only table for the hour or so that we were here. Promptly seated and both of us went with the AYCE option as we were excited to do meats on the charcoal grill.

We were served relatively quickly (banchan in ~10 minutes and meats came right afterwards). For two people, we started off with the brisket, pork belly, and bulgogi. The brisket and pork belly cook on one style of grill and then they swap it out for when you cook the bulgogi. The same style of grill can be used to cook the pork short rib, which is what we ordered fourth. For our fifth and last order we swapped back for the brisket. Banchan and water refills came quickly whenever we asked, and they swapped out for fresh charcoal once as well.

Overall, the style of Korean barbecue here is quite different than other places I’ve been. There’s less emphasis on sauces and more on the charcoal flavor of the grilling. Presentation is excellent. The dipping sauces add a bit of flavor but nothing too saucy. I suggest going longer than you think for the pork belly to get it extra crispy. The pork short rib also takes the longest, and is thick so you have to be careful to fully cooked through (don’t start with the short rib if you’re hungry). The banchan are decent here, nothing too spiced or crazy but I enjoyed the pickled vegetables. The tofu soup (soon dooboo) was also nicely spiced and was a great thing to have between meats.

Overall, excellent service and a really good presentation for self-cooking Korean barbecue. Very reasonable price of $35/person for AYCE. Would definitely come back.

We had an amazing experience. We did the AYCE which was incredible. The only reason for only 4 stars is the greasy floor under the table. Otherwise I would say this is the best Korean BBQ restaurant I’ve been to in the greater Seattle area. Thank you for the great service, quality meats and the unique experience.

Amazing authentic Korean BBQ!

Don’t be fooled by the old reviews. This restaurant got new ownership within the last 2 years and it is AMAZING!

Everything is fresh and homemade. From the kimchi to the salad to the sauces, it’s delicious. All meats were tender and juicy while delicious with the charcoal taste.

We went on a quiet Sunday night and our waitress, Erin, was amazing! She made the experience 100x better and made sure we got our money worth for AYCE!

This is my new go to KBBQ spot! Tasty, affordable and easy to get a table. Don’t waste your time going to others

If you want some serious food coma then order from the all you can eat menu. It starts at $35 per person.

My boyfriend discovered this place and kept raving about it to me. After returning to the country he took me here and I was not disappointed. Living in Seattle is expensive and finding a gem that gives you a good bang for your buck is hard. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to all of my friends. Our server was so lovely. She remembered my boyfriend and his son, but also recognized that I might be the girlfriend he was talking about that was away on vacation. She was a pleasure to talk to and her service was much appreciated. A huge thanks to whoever was in the kitchen too. Everything was prepared very well and presented nicely.

I haven’t been here in awhile and the food and service gas not changed. The quality has stayed the same and so did the portion sizes. The customer service here is absolutely fantastic and they did a great job well done. The restaurant reminded me of the one I used to work at back home and tastes very similar. I am glad this place uses char coal for the grill. It makes the meat tastes absolutely different and tastes amazing. I really like how they set up the restaurant. It is nothing too crazy. It is simple and not crazy bedazzled. I am looking forward to do my birthday dinner here and bring my friends and have them experience what kbbq should be. Thank you Old Village and I will be looking forward to seeing you again
