I can’t say enough good things about Yesterdays food, service and attention to detail when catering our recent 50th class reunion for 155 people. Jen and her crew were communicative, polite and a well-oiled machine. It took about 30 minutes for everyone to get through the buffet line (we were the last table). The food was kept hot and there was plenty fir everyone, which was a very pleasant surprise. Our menu included chicken and pork which were extremely moist with a fabulous flavor. The salad was packed with vegetables and a variety of dressing choices and toppings…something for everyone. The fresh green beans and scalloped potatoes were perfect. At the end of the meal we had a long dessert table with individual servings (chocolate and peanut butter mousse, lime tarts, and chocolate dipped strawberries). We could not have asked for anything better, including supplying us with bartenders and wait staff that you could tell absolutely loved their jobs (always an indicator of a well run business, in my opinion). If you need catering for an event, run, don’t walk to Yesterdays. You will not be disappointed.

3 king crab leg meals, Alfredo, burger and Oscar Filet. Meals were really good. Salads not so much. Plates must have been fresh washed so lettuce was hot. Bus boy needs to be sure people are finished before taking the plates and should not stand beside a patron and wait for them to take their last bites. Our waitress was awesome for sure. Hope she enjoyed the tip. Would I recommend….YES … still aren’t place. Not so much for kids tho. ENJOY!

This place was hopping. It seemed as though they were a little understaffed, but who isn’t these days! Our server did her best to attend to us and her many, many, other tables which I find super impressive. The food was immaculate in my opinion. My shrimp were perfect, the martini was delicious, and the gin and tonics were refreshing on a hot day. We were served as timely as possible with how busy it was and Yesterday’s staff made sure we were happy customers.

First and foremost, our service/ waitstaff was great, cannot remember her name but her and others we saw and heard knew their jobs and did a great job. Food was cold. Salmon on salmon cedar plank was charred. I would not recommend this place at all

On behalf of the Spencer High School-Class of 1973, we want to thank Jennifer Ferrell owner of Yesterday’s Restaurant and Catering and her entire staff for the most outstanding meal one could ever want. From the table setups, to the table service to the Garcon who sliced and served the wonderful pork loin, the evening was a HUGE success. My classmates raved about the potato casserole. And the chicken marsala was yummy. Not to mention the heavenly desserts of key lime pie, chocolate covered strawberries and the peanut butter mousse shots and chocolate mousse shots were outstanding. I cannot explain enough how wonderful ALL the food was. This by far was the best special event food we’ve ever had. KUDOS to all. The event, our 50th class reunion was held at the amazing Okoboji Classic Car Museum in Milford, Iowa. Again, many thanks to Jen Ferrell and her staff from Yesterday’s was beyond all our expectations. Job WELL DONE.

DO NOT EAT HERE! 2+ hours for a terrible dinner. Nine people and not one meal was good. Only saving grace…good drinks and wine so we didn’t care as much about how bad the meal was. We asked to speak to the manager but he or she didn’t show. So disappointed.
