Foods great.
Pho is also good.
Careful ordering online. They use square which will use dark patterns to try and get you to create accounts and other scummy behavior. Nothing against the restraint but these payment portal through square SUCKS.

Yen’s never disappoints. The food is made to order, fresh and great quality. The service is always great, and it doesn’t take long to get your food. Definitely one of my favorite places to get lunch. I usually go for the vegetarian tofu pho, but everything I’ve ever ordered is amazing.

Delish!!! Best Banh Mi I’ve ever had. I got the Lemongrass beef and it was so delicious. My friends got pho and it was also really tasty. It was cold outside and the broth warmed me up from the inside out. Thank you for a delicious lunch!

Man I love this place! Yen’s sandwiches is one of the best restaurants in South Charleston when it comes to Asian food. The sandwiches are cheap and the stew is second to none. I like the automated ordering that they have now so you can just put what you want, pay and then sit and wait for your food. The smoothies are the best. Every flavor is good because I’ve had them all. The atmosphere is comfortable and cozy. Space is limited but you should be able to find a seat espeically if it’s nice outside. Don’t skip out on this little treat next to the Mound!

Do not eat here if you have any sort of allergies or dietary restrictions. They made me order on a tablet, which had no nutritional info, and then my vermicelli bowl (which I have probably eaten 50 times in my life and is ALWAYS gluten free) had wheat noodles and soy sauce with gluten. They would not swap out my food or give me a refund because ‘I should have asked if it had gluten’. First of all I would have asked if I had been able to order from a real person, but really there is no world in which Vietnamese noodle salad should have gluten anyway!

We had a lovely experience! The lady at the register told us since it was our first time, to order one sandwich and one soup to try both and they were delightful! As well as the desserts! But the lychee smoothie was one of the best things I’ve had, strongly recommend it!

So sad, Yens use to be my favorite place. For over a year they have had signs stating lack of employees place your own order, pick up your own garbage etc. Yesterday was the last straw, to go food only. My husband ordered Pho and they did not give him any soy sause and told him he had to order it and pay for it. And then they ask for a tip. Food was so so, fatty meat, not all the condiments, lack luster. Really, next they will show you into the kitchen to make your own food. Ridiculous!! Up the prices, hire employees and be a restaurant or just go get a food truck if you want to provide bare minimum.

Everyone was so nice, the food was amazing. The lady working recommended the best sandwich to my friend and noodle bowl for me. We also got crab rangoons. Didn’t get a picture of my friend’s sandwich. We will definitely be adding it to our lunch spot rotation.

I love Pho from way back. Been making it for years. Broth is key. And these people know what they’re doing. Very flavorful. Everything was clean and fresh. People in the dining room were bragging on the bread… There were 2 different customers bringing friends in to try it for the first time . That says it all. I will be back. Note: you order at a kiosk and almost everyone had to be told when they went to the counter, including me. They have multiple signs but they are over looked because we’re human and hungry

I can’t brag enough about this place. The food is immaculate, they have fast service, and are friendly. The sandwiches are the best I’ve ever had from anywhere.
